Last week, the IMaH team trained staff of the Ghana Free Zones Authority (GFZA) in CPR.

In an emergency, the first few minutes matter most. A colleague who knows CPR can help keep someone alive until medical help arrives. Thank you, GFZA, for investing in the safety of your people.

Want your team trained too? Book an appointment for a CPR session for your company. Call 0303 220 030 | 055 222 2290 | 053 519 7061

One ribbon. One conversation. One life that could be saved.

This Pink October, pass the ribbon on. Tell a mother, a sister, a friend or a colleague to get checked early. A single reminder from you could be the nudge she needed.

Customer Service Week may be ending, but our care for you never does.

Before the scans, the tests and the treatment, there is a smile, a greeting and someone who points you in the right direction. Our front desk executives do that for hundreds of patients every day, whatever kind of day they’re having.

To our front desk team, thank you for the warm hello you give every client.

Thank you, Ghana Immigration Service!

Yesterday, we were honoured to welcome the women of the Ghana Immigration Service to International Maritime Hospital for their breast health checks, as part of this year's .

By taking time out of their busy schedules, they showed that caring for others starts with caring for yourself. Breast cancer is most treatable when detected early, and a simple check can make all the difference.

Is your organization next? We offer group breast screening for staff, at our facility or at your workplace.

Feeling nervous about getting checked? That's okay. Lots of women feel the same way. Here's the truth: going for screening doesn't mean you have breast cancer. It means you're looking after yourself. Most checks bring peace of mind, and if anything is found early, treatment works best.

Knowing how to check yourself is one of the simplest ways to stay ahead of
breast health. In this video, we walk through how to do a self breast exam - when to do it, what to look and feel for, and when to see a doctor if something feels different.

This Pink October, IMaH is also offering breast cancer screening (Mammogram,
Ultrasound & Combo) at GHS 345, 1st–31st October. Walk-ins welcome.
