π¨ A NEW ERA OF HEALTHCARE IN WENCHI π¬π
βNo one should suffer because they are poor.β
On 17 April 2026, a major milestone will be achieved in Wenchi β the commissioning of the Obaapanin Abena Henewaa (Tiakaa) Orthopaedic Complex Centre at Methodist Hospital Wenchi.
This modern facility, with an 80-bed capacity (including 5 private rooms), will significantly improve the treatment of fractures, trauma injuries, and other orthopaedic conditions in Wenchi and surrounding communities.
For years, the existing orthopaedic ward faced serious overcrowding, leaving many patients without access to timely care.
β‘οΈ This new centre changes that reality.
This project was made possible through the partnership between Ghana Community Niederbayern e.V., Methodist Hospital Wenchi, and with support from the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).
But beyond the building, there is a greater mission:
β€οΈ SICK & POOR FUND β SUPPORT LIFE, SUPPORT HOPE
Every day, people suffer not because treatment does not existβ¦
but because they cannot afford it.
Your support can:
β’ Help patients receive life-saving treatment
β’ Support rehabilitation and recovery
β’ Restore dignity and hope
π We invite individuals, organisations, churches, and businesses to contribute.
