I would like to thank His Eminence Metropolitan of Arta, Mr. Kallinikos, as well as the Society for Greek Affairs (EtElThe) for co-organizing the presentation of my book: "Fasting in Health", which took place on Sunday 07/12 in the Hall of the Spiritual Center of the Church of St. John the Theologian. With the presence of a representative of the 8th Infantry Brigade based in Ioannina, as well as representatives of the municipal authority and associations of Arta, as well as representatives from the Medical and Nursing sector. A big thank you also to the ordinary people who filled the beautiful and warm Hall, for their interest in learning about the positive effects of the Fast of the Orthodox Church on human health. I would also like to sincerely thank my interlocutors for their kind words: Ms. Papadopoulou Souzana, Associate Professor of the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics of the School of Health Sciences of the International Hellenic University (IHU), Mr. Giannoulis Dimitrios, Associate Professor of the Supreme Ecclesiastical Academy of Athens and Mr. Georgiou Dimitrios, President of EtElThe, who coordinated the discussion. As well as all those who worked voluntarily to make the event a success. Finally, I would also like to thank the local television station ArtTV, which covered the event.
