🧬 Advancing scientific knowledge in prenatal genetics
At , Medicover Genetics Greece contributed to the scientific programme with research exploring important aspects of prenatal genetics and genomic diagnostics.
The studies focused on the interpretation of susceptibility loci identified through prenatal chromosomal microarray analysis and on the performance of non-invasive prenatal screening (NIPS) for the detection of CNVs in the 22q11 region.
Presented by first authors Dr Vasiliki Chini and Dr Nikoletta Dounavi, these findings reflect our ongoing commitment to generating scientific evidence that supports informed clinical decision-making and advances the understanding of complex genetic findings in the prenatal setting.
Through active participation in international scientific forums such as the ESHG - European Society of Human Genetics, we continue to contribute to scientific exchange and the advancement of genomic medicine.
