Nearly 100 women took part in the “Woman, Music and Archetypes” Circles, held as part of Music-POWER (Music – Promoting Opportunities for Women’s Empowerment and Resilience). They joined us from across Greece, as well as Switzerland, Cyprus, France, the United Kingdom, Ireland and Australia.
Each woman brought her own story and trusted music to accompany a profound sharing of experiences—deeply personal to each of us, yet shared in so many ways.
Our heartfelt thanks to the Circle facilitators Evangelia Papanikolaou Efi Kapsimali Artemis Christodoulou for the care with which they held the space and for their thoughtful reflections. Above all, we thank every participant for her trust.
This commemorative album grew from our shared wish to keep a few of the experiences from the Circles close to us. We are grateful to the women who contributed their work to its creation.
The Music-POWER project was implemented within “POWER – Promoting Organisations’ empoWErment to guarantee women’s human Rights and stop gender violence.” POWER aims to strengthen civil society organisations in Italy, Greece and Spain in protecting, promoting and advancing recognition of the fundamental rights of women and people of feminine gender identities, and in addressing gender-based violence.
POWER is co-funded by the European Union through the Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values Programme (CERV – 2023 – DAPHNE). It is coordinated by WeWorld (WW) in partnership with ActionAid Hellas (AAH) and Asociación Bienestar y Desarrollo (ABD).
