*Additional note: From May 9, 2017 to November 6, 2018, the South Node was in Aquarius and the North Node was in Leo.

We experienced the first eclipse of this cycle in Aquarius on February 17, 2026.

As the eclipses move through these two fixed signs, we may find ourselves resisting change. However, we may also be confronted with many areas of life that need to be questioned, transformed or left behind.

First of all, we may begin to recognise why we have been hiding our authentic identity. The tension between expressing ourselves as we truly are and being accepted by society may become increasingly visible.

We may question our social circles, friendships and the groups we belong to. We may find ourselves standing on the line between the need to belong and the desire to preserve our individuality.

For some of us, expressing our individuality and authentic identity more openly may become a priority. For others, it may be time to work alongside others for a shared purpose or a greater good.

We may witness remarkable developments in areas such as artificial intelligence, robotics, the internet, social networks, astronomy and space exploration.

During this period, we may need to leave behind excessive pride, ambition, stubbornness, unnecessary risks and the constant need for applause.

We may need to learn not only how to express our own light, but also how to appreciate the light of others, share the stage and make space for collective intelligence.

Furthermore, as of July 27,2026 the Lunar Nodes which symbolize our collective karmic direction will also shift into the Leo–Aquarius axis. This may make Leo related themes some of the defining motifs of the coming period.

Leo is associated with the ego, self-confidence, self-worth, identity, creativity, the courage to take center stage and living from the heart. Jupiter’s journey through this sign may offer many people an opportunity to rediscover their inner light and build a stronger, more authentic sense of self.

On a global level, this transit may bring greater attention to gold reserves, big cats, children, leaders, politicians, royal families, performers, fashion, theatre, music, and the arts.

The overall atmosphere may become warmer, more generous, joyful, creative, courageous and playful. Taking initiative, rebuilding damaged confidence, expressing creativity, stepping into the spotlight, and acting from the heart may feel more natural during this time.

However, as with every Jupiter transit, it is not only our virtues that become magnified.

Excessive self-centeredness, arrogance, displays of power, the need for admiration, unnecessary dramatization, taking everything personally and a tendency toward extravagance may also become more pronounced.

🇬🇧I keep thinking of the upcoming Mercury retrograde in Cancer, which will occupy much of July and whose effects are already beginning to unfold, as this:

That neighbour who suddenly shows up to collect the food storage containers she lent you ages ago.

Cancer is about preserving, holding on, and remembering. Emotional nourishment. Memories. Belongings. Home. Family. Nostalgia.

Many people are hoping to hear from someone from their past. Sometimes making peace is a good thing. Sometimes life brings people back together unexpectedly. Maybe there is a conversation that needs to be finished, a truth that needs to be seen, or perhaps it’s simply an inner knot waiting to be untangled.

This year, I blocked every one of my former partners and stepped out of those spaces.

It wasn’t about running away.

It felt like finishing an ancient book and closing its final page. I thanked the book. I kept the lessons that mattered. There was simply nothing left for me to learn from it.

As one of my love languages, I used to bake cakes for people. I left the food storage containers I packed them in with my exes. I could never bring myself to ask for them back, and no one thought to return them either.

Then I realized something:
The container was never what mattered. The cake was.

So I bought new containers.

And I learned that sometimes, it’s okay to ask for the containers you’ve given away to be returned.
