An oldie but a goodie on how acupuncture can increase your odds of getting pregnant with IVF. Seeing as IVF is costly, adding an extra security blanket to avoid future treatments seems like a no brainer, especially considering its very low adverse effect profile.

You know that expression..."Life is about the journey, not the end destination"? That doesn't really hold true for the IVF journey 'cause the journey SUCKS. You are poked, prodded, put into the most vulnerable positions, any modesty you might have had goes out the window and you jump through hoops knowing that even if you do EVERYTHING right, you are not guaranteed the outcome you so much desire.
This is where your psychology has to be on point.
Methods such as:
- acupuncture
-meditation
-proper sleep hygiene and nutrition
-yoga
-seeing psychologist

ALL aide to regulate your stress hormones and put your body in a better, healthier more receptive position.

Deep breath in.....and out.....and take it one step at a time while not focusing too much on the journey but rather on your destination.
