I’m not a medical doctor, but I am a patient who spent the last 6 years deep in the cancer healing world and I got to learn from some of the best.
And one of the most important things I learned from Dr. Tony Jimenez from Hope4Cancer Treatment Centers was that healing wasn’t about becoming obsessed with the tumor. It was about becoming obsessed with the terrain of the body.
The tumor was the smoke.
The terrain was the fire.
I used to think healing cancer meant finding the one treatment powerful enough to destroy cancer. Instead, I learned to ask a different question:
What kind of body am I creating?
Am I creating a body that is inflamed or nourished?
Oxygenated or stagnant?
At peace or constantly in survival mode?
Supported by community and faith, or isolated in fear?
Not only did this serve me during my cancer healing journey, but it’s something I keep in mind daily as I focus on prevention moving forward
