In the second (young) EPNS journal club we will discuss the 2021 European guideline and expert statements on the management of narcolepsy in adults and children, written by Bassetti and colleagues in a joint publication of the European Journal of Neurology and Journal of Sleep Research. We will discuss the content of the article and main recommendations of the authors, but also the strength and weaknesses of the methodologies used. Furthermore, we will discuss guideline development in general, especially in rare disorders. The presentation will be followed by an interactive discussion with the participants of the journal club.
