Azure oceans, heritage, progress, relaxation. The brochure is very convincing.

And a GUT PUNCH.

Because behind the postcards, there are people trying to hold together real lives inside systems that don’t match the image.

Recognising disability rights (even in TERMINAL disease) depending on stagnant admin.

Mental health care split between private survival and public approval.

Families navigating caregiving while waiting for decisions that don’t move at human speed.

And, today, suddenly-fricken-Seamore military bureaucracy sitting in the middle of all of it, still asking for “proof” at the worst possible time.

Sorry to 💩 in your freddo espresso and leave skids on the sunbed. At least the weather's good though, huh?
