At Coco Nomade, we believe healthy food is about more than just ingredients.

It’s also about the cookware we use, the oils we choose, how we wash our produce, and the products that come into contact with our food every day.

We’re not interested in perfection, fear, or obsessing over every detail. We simply try to make thoughtful choices wherever we can.

Here are a few of the practices you’ll find in our kitchen:

🍳 We cook with glass, cast iron, stainless steel, and unbleached parchment paper.

🥥 The only oils and fats you’ll find in our kitchen are olive oil, coconut oil, and cacao butter.

🪵 We use wooden and stainless steel utensils to help reduce unnecessary microplastic exposure.

💧 Our produce is washed with filtered water and baking soda.

🫧 We use a Castile soap-based dish soap to avoid harsh chemical residues on our dishes and cookware.

No kitchen is perfect, and we’re always learning. These are simply some of the ways we try to create food that’s as nourishing as possible—for our guests, our family, and ourselves. 🌿

It’s our birthday season, (we’re a family of Aquarians) and the sunset cake is making tradition. We make our cakes full of fruits, nuts and unrefined sugars, and won’t make the baby go cray cray.

One more birthday to go and looking forward to the next cake creation ❤️

This is a completely plant based meal, cooked with coconut oil, and where possible organic ingredients from are used 💜 🪴
