Cacao on cacao 🤎
You guys loved our Iced S’mores Cacao with homemade marshmallow fluff so much, we had to make another rendition: cacao marshmallow fluff piled on top of a warm cup of pure ceremonial-grade cacao.
Cacao Marshmallow Fluff:
½ cup honey
2 egg whites
¼ tsp cream of tartar
2 tbsp cacao powder
Whip the honey until light and fluffy. Add the egg whites and cream of tartar and continue whipping until thick, glossy peaks form. Add the cacao powder and whip again until fully incorporated. That’s it.
Make your cacao as usual, then add two heaping spoonfuls of cacao marshmallow fluff on top and let it slowly melt into your cup. ☁️🍫
Store the extra fluff in a sealed mason jar in the fridge so you can top your cacao all week long.
Double cacao. Double fluff. Cozy season perfected.
