NEW OPTION: The FDA has approved the first-ever oral PCSK9 drug for millions of Americans battling high cholesterol.

Lipfendra, made by Merck, reduced LDL cholesterol by 56% to 60% when combined with statins in clinical trials — roughly double the impact of statins alone.

Until now, PCSK9 inhibitors were only available as injections, a factor experts say contributed to their underuse.

I had a very stressful day until young princess Jahzarra ran into my office with her dad and mom. The joy 🥹 and pride I felt was incomparable to anything else. The energy she gives off speaks volume of the love she gets at home. These moments always give me goose bumps. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️. It’s time for her to get her little brother. 🙂🙂🙂🙂

I can clearly remembered the day my operation’s manager (Anesha) was informed of this 37 years old being pregnant for the first time after trying since she was 19 years old-making it 18 years that she would have been trying. I can recall the joy on her face that day. To top it off, it was not only that she had PCOS/PMOS but also that her 38 years old spouse had low s***m motility, all do which we fixed and about to make them parents for the first time. These messages and challenging cases make my day because, I can only imagine the torment they probably went through with family members, friends and villagers about not being able to conceive.

Over three (3) years with a failed IUI, this 28 y/o soon to be mother is ecstatic since she was diagnosed with PCOS/PMOS and was told that she can’t conceive and in no time at our clinic we received this message. Her 33 year old spouse is soon to be a first time father. It’s never told late and never give up!!!
