We've been treating loneliness like an external problem.
Find the right person. Build the right community. Fill the calendar. Stay busy. Stay surrounded.
But none of that fixes an internal experience. And deep down, most of us already know that — because we've tried it.
The real root is usually something much quieter: a feeling that came from somewhere, that we understood intellectually, that we explained away — and never actually processed.
"They did their best. It made sense. Other people had it harder."
All true. And the feeling still stayed. It went into the shadow, not away.
And now you can.
You don't have to fix everything today. It’ll be enough just knowing that we can heal this part of ourselves and it’s okay to.
