To make your glasses more durable, proper cleaning, wearing, and storage habits are key.1. Proper Cleaning and MaintenanceRinse before washing: Always rinse dust and particles off the lenses with cold water first to prevent scratches caused by dry wiping.Gentle cleaning: Use a small amount of diluted neutral dish soap or specialized lens cleaner to wash them gently. Never use strong acids, alkalis, or alcohol.Blot dry: After washing, use a soft microfiber cloth or clean tissue to gently pat and blot the water away. Do not rub back and forth forcefully.Say no to dry wiping: Avoid using the corner of your clothes or a dry cloth to wipe the lenses directly, as this can damage the lens coating.2. Proper Wearing and HandlingUse both hands: Always use both hands to hold the temples (arms) when putting on or taking off your glasses. Using one hand can easily cause the frame to deform or become misaligned.Regular adjustments: If you notice your glasses frequently slipping or loosening, take them to an optical shop to adjust the screws and frame. Do not try to force or bend them yourself.Avoid high temperatures: Never leave your glasses inside a closed, hot car or near heat sources. High temperatures can warp the frames and cause the lens coating to crack.3. Proper StorageUse a hard case: When not in use, always store your glasses inside a hard protective case.Lenses facing up: If you need to set them down on a table temporarily, make sure the lenses are facing up to prevent the surface from scratching against the table.
