香港護眼 - 為您眼睛護航

背景:
「香港護眼」致力提供優質和專業的驗眼護眼服務，並推廣全面眼睛及視覺檢查的重要。

我們專注評估眼睛內外健康情況並提供角膜矯視和兒童控制近視等一站式眼科護理服務。

「香港護眼」轄下的眼科視光師均屬第一部份註冊，畢業於香港理工大學眼科視光學院或海外著名學府，並有多年執業經驗，能夠使用眼科診斷藥物作全面眼睛檢查。負責角膜矯形術的同事，更擁有認可的執業資格及豐富經驗。用心地、專業地為市民服務。

我們是「醫療券」計劃下的服務提供者, 可為長者申領醫療券用作支付眼睛檢查費用。

「香港護眼」亦會透過定期的護眼講座及視力普查，提高市民對護眼的關注和認識。
對於眼睛的問題，「護眼大使」都可以在此專頁問問專家，互動交流。

We are committed to offering a one-stop eye care service to the public focusing on assessing your ocular health, Orthokeratology (Ortho-k) treatment and myopia control in children. All optometrists in EyeCareHK are Part I registered, graduated from School of Optometry in the Hong Kong Polytechnic University or renowned oversea optometry schools. We are all experienced in dilated eye exam and Ortho-k treatment. EyeCareHK is also a provider in the Health Voucher Scheme, we can help elderly to redeem their vouchers for the exam fee directly from the Department of Health.

理工大學及其合作團隊研發推出新一款近視控制鏡片，稱可以更有效減慢兒童近視加深。

本港不少兒童都有近視問題，8歲的許懿人雙眼兩年間由75度近視，增至約250度。
近視兒童家長許太說：「我們很擔心，年紀這麼小有百多度近視，我不知道甚麼時候能捱過，她青春期發育完成的眼球增長，不知道會增加多少，因此我們當時是很擔心。」

理大指眼軸過快增長是近視加深主因，理大跟合作團隊研發出新一款近視控制鏡片，可以抑制兒童近視加深的速度，過去一年包括懿人在內，有196名4至12歲的近視兒童戴上這款鏡片測試，團隊發現鏡片能抑制眼軸過快增長，學童近視度數平均無加深，小至四歲的兒童都適用。

理大眼科視光學院副教授謝欣然說：「透過將影像投射在視網膜前，可以減慢眼睛近視的發展，減慢眼睛的發育，不會這麼快變成近視。第一代鏡片與以前的研究類似，超過百分之52功效，而新鏡片是超過百分之100(功效)。」

功效加強，團隊稱價錢都有上調，售價較上一代貴約一千元。理大表示要預防近視加深，越早介入越好，有助降低日後發生其他併發症的風險。
