【Outreach Activity - JOCOC x The mission Covenant Church Yiu On Neighbourhood Elderly Centre】
JOCOC organised an outreach activity at The mission Covenant Church Yiu On Neighbourhood Elderly Centre on 2rd June 2026. The activity aimed to provide bone health education to the occupational deafness and their carer, sharing on how to prevent and improve osteoporosis through early intervention, a high calcium diet, reorganizing the home as well as doing weight-bearing exercises. More than 50 pax of participants actively shared their enquiries, and the event ended with an informative Q&A session. Thanks to all for their active participation!

【黃大仙地區康健中心 『醫社共譜康健社區』】「第四次持份者交流會議暨服務嘉年華」

本中心獲黃大仙地區康健中心邀請，參與於2026年3月26日在鑽石山上活水公園 (飛機庫) 舉辦的『醫社共譜康健社區』第四次持份者交流會議暨服務嘉年華。

本中心致力推動全民骨骼健康及改善骨質疏鬆症患者生活素質。積極參與推廣骨質疏鬆症的預防、臨床研究和有關的檢查、 診斷及治療工作，分享骨質疏鬆及少肌症健康資訊，並教導參加者進行 "SARC-F少肌症" 和骨折風險自我評估。

眾參加者反應熱烈，當日預備的教育單張數量有限，未能提供與每一位在場人士，中心深感抱歉。 本中心所有的健康教育材料，均可以通過以下鏈接在線下載：

Our center was invited by the Wong Tai Sin District Health Centre to participate in the
“黃大仙地區康健中心 『醫社共譜康健社區』” — [the Fourth Stakeholder Exchange Meeting and Service Carnival], which was held on March 26, 2026, at Water Feature Park (Hangar), Diamond Hill, Wong Tai Sin.

Our center is committed and actively participate in the promotion of osteoporosis prevention, clinical research, and related examinations, diagnosis, and treatment. We also share health information on osteoporosis and sarcopenia. During the event, JOCOC staff teaches participants how to conduct the "SARC-F sarcopenia" and fracture risk self-assessments.
The response from participants was overwhelming. We sincerely apologize to those participants who were unable to receive our health education leaflets on site that day due to limited stock. All of our health education materials can be downloaded online via the following link:
