84% of menopausal women deal with urinary symptoms. It’s one of the most common — and least talked about — changes of this transition.

Blame estrogen.
Estrogen kept your urinary tissues resilient, moist, and inhospitable to bacteria. As levels drop, tissues thin, protective bacteria disappear, and suddenly unwanted ones feel very much at home.
It has a name — Genitourinary Syndrome of Menopause — and most women have never heard of it.

Up to 50% fewer UTIs are possible with the right targeted changes. Not just « drink more water. » Actual, evidence-based strategies.

You deserve answers. And a plan.
A complete science-informed guide covering the biology, the prevention protocol, the right supplements, and the natural approaches that actually work — written from a naturopathic perspective, with honesty about what helps and when to see a doctor.
No fluff. No miracle promises. Just real, useful strategies that work.

💬 Type UTI GUIDE in the comments and I’ll send you the link to get it directly.

Nobody told me yoga was a brain intervention.

I came to yoga for the same reasons most people do. Stress. Tight hips. The vague sense that I should probably slow down.
What I did not expect was the neuroscience.

Here is what research has found that still genuinely surprises me:

🔹 Regular yoga practice grows grey matter in the hippocampus and prefrontal cortex, the areas responsible for memory, focus, and emotional regulation. Brain structure is not fixed. Practice shapes it.

🔹 It raises BDNF, the protein your brain uses to build new neural connections. The same marker that drops with chronic stress, depression, and ageing. Yoga raises it. Consistently.

🔹 It shrinks the amygdala over time. Less volume in your stress alarm centre means a less reactive nervous system. Not suppressed. Just quieter.

🔹 It boosts GABA , the calming neurotransmitter linked to anxiety and mood disorders, more than walking at the same energy expenditure. That post-yoga calm is biochemically real.

🔹 It slows brain ageing. Experienced practitioners show significantly less age-related grey matter loss on brain imaging. The brain, like the body, responds to how you use it.

This is why I recommend yoga to almost every client I work with. Not as a trend. As a tool.

Yesterday was International Women’s Day, but every day I choose to pass the torch.
As a mother and a naturopath, the greatest gift I can give my daughter isn’t a perfect world, it’s the knowledge to navigate it with intention.

Teaching her to listen to her body, to trust nature, and to care for herself from the inside out. From woman to woman. From mother to daughter.

The lineage of wisdom continues. 💛

Adult acne is not random.
It is often a signal — from your hormones, your gut, your stress levels, or your inflammatory load.
Your skin reflects your internal balance. When we address the root cause instead of chasing symptoms, real and lasting change becomes possible.

No rush, real food, no crash: my kind of breakfast

This morning, I chose a breakfast designed to support energy, digestion, and satiety, without overstimulation or heaviness.

☕ Homemade herbal tea mix– “Clarity & Gentle Energy”
Rosemary • Sweet mint • Nettle • Dried orange zest
→ A warm, caffeine-free drink to gently wake up the body and hydrate.

🍽 On my plate: simple foods, complementary benefits
🥚 Hard-boiled eggs
→ A source of protein that helps with satiety and steady morning energy.
🥒 Zucchini spaghetti with herbs (gently cooked + olive oil)
→ Adding vegetables in the morning provides fiber and lightness, especially when softly cooked.
🌱 Soaked chia seeds
→ Soaking improves texture and contributes to daily Protein and fiber intake.
🌰 A small handful of walnuts, almonds & hazelnuts
→ Sources of healthy fats that support long-lasting energy (in moderation).
🍊🍎 Orange & apple, whole
→ Whole fruits provide fiber and pleasure, very different from fruit juice.

🚫 No…
* no added sugars
* no ultra-processed foods
* no fruit juices
* no artificial stimulation
* no rushed breakfast

What did you have for breakfast this morning?

During this inspiring and practical workshop, I’ll share simple, concrete solutions to help you create a home that supports your energy, immunity, and balance every day.
You’ll learn how to:

🌿 Purify the air and prevent mold naturally,
🌸 Choose plants that cleanse and energize your home,
🧽 Select non-toxic cleaning products and kitchen essentials,
💧 Improve the quality of the water you drink,
🕯️ Harmonize your space for more serenity and vitality,

✨ and more broadly, discover how every choice in your home can become a step toward better health.
A gentle reset for your space — and for yourself.
