Why Is Value Important?
If we don't recognize the value of something, we won't be motivated to invest our effort into it—let alone achieve it. Value comes naturally when it arises from what we genuinely love. When we truly love something, it naturally becomes meaningful and valuable to us.
However, there are situations in which we need to recognize—or even learn—why something is valuable to us. For example, someone whose health is compromised but who doesn't understand the true value of good health and its broader impact on quality of life, will struggle to develop the motivation to take proper care of themselves. In their perception, health doesn't carry enough meaning to become a priority, especially if they don't see themselves as important and consistently place themselves last.
There is a significant difference between value that is driven by the ego—with its endless stories and checklists—and value that comes from within. Ego-based value depends on external indicators such as education, financial status, social roles, possessions, whether you're married or single, male or female, how many friends you have, whether you have children or not, where you work, how much you earn, your lifestyle, where you go on vacation, or how many likes you receive on social media. This is false value. The ego simply feeds on external circumstances.
True value is something entirely different. It is knowing that I am worthy regardless of any external factor. It means standing by myself, by what I love, and supporting it through my thoughts, my perception of myself, what I say, what I feel, and the actions I take from a place of pure love within me—regardless of the world around me. This is why we say that self-worth comes from within.
If you don't feel worthy in your own eyes, no amount of external validation will bring lasting fulfillment. Instead, it may create a temporary sense of satisfaction, followed by emptiness, hunger, and a renewed search for validation—an endless dependency on approval. The cycle repeats itself over and over, while true fulfillment remains out of reach. The ego's list of what you still need to do or become in order to be "worthy" only keeps growing, and you never seem to arrive at your destination.
From an energetic perspective, this reflects how connected—or disconnected—you are from the energy of your own worth. It reveals how much you can (or cannot) see it, become aware of it, and whether you are truly present with it.
The ego doesn't understand energy. It is made up of stories, beliefs, and conditioning—both positive and negative.
Regardless of the goals you want to achieve, what you will always need is the ability to stand firmly in the energy of your own worth and to clearly recognize the true value of what you are striving for. From there, you build standards and energetic boundaries that support and protect that value.
This is what we call embodying the energy of worth. It means living it, not just imagining what it would be like.
Only then does value become a magnet for more value—because you radiate it. 🔥🔥
