📢 A Must-Read Guide for Parents, Guardians, and Anyone Who Cares About Young People 📢

Are you looking for ways to support the teenagers or young adults in your life when it comes to their mental health? You’re not alone. Many adults want to help but aren’t sure where to start. That’s why we’re sharing a free guide packed with real-life tips, tools, and resources from across Europe to help young people navigate their mental health with confidence.

🔍 What’s Inside the Guide?
This isn’t just another generic advice booklet. It’s a practical toolkit designed to help adults like you:
✅ Understand the challenges young people face today—from social media pressure to academic stress.
✅ Learn about low-threshold support—like 24/7 helplines, walk-in therapy, and creative workshops—that don’t require long waiting lists.
✅ Discover peer support programs where young people can connect with others who get it.
✅ Find digital tools and resources that are accessible, affordable, and effective.
✅ Read real stories from young people across Europe, so you can see what works (and what doesn’t).

💡 Why This Matters
Mental health struggles don’t disappear just because someone is young. In fact, 1 in 5 young people experience mental health challenges, but only 1 in 3 ask for help. That’s where you come in.

By educating yourself and sharing this guide, you can:
🔹 Break down the stigma around mental health in your family or community.
🔹 Spot the signs early and offer meaningful support.
🔹 Guide young people to the right resources—without judgment or unnecessary hurdles.
🔹 Start conversations that can save lives.

📲 How to Access the Guide
👉 Download the full FREE guide https://linktr.ee/do.you.mind
👉 Share it with other parents, teachers, or caregivers who might need it.
👉 Save it for later—because mental health support isn’t a one-time thing.

💬 Let’s Talk About It
Have you ever felt unsure about how to help a young person in your life? Share your experiences or tips in the comments below. Let’s create a space where we can learn from each other and support the next generation together.

We would like to share this guide to check-up on yourself and your mental well-being, as well as your loved ones’ ❤️

Once in a while try to stop and reflect on how you’re doing asking yourself these 5 simple questions.
You can also use it to help a loved one you think is struggling at the moment, like your child, your friend or your partner.

Take care of your mental health and try to notice when something is wrong before it escalates ☺️

We recently held a Hangout at the Info Center for Youth Osijek for a special workshop as part of the “Do You Mind?” project. It wasn’t just a workshop; it was a time for hanging out and being real. Instead of just drawing, we used masks to express what we usually keep hidden. The challenge was to paint what we feel deep inside, rather than the face we show the world. Using markers, paints, and old newspapers, everyone brought their inner thoughts to life in a safe space where everything you create is “good”.
The most powerful part? The empathy. Sharing the stories behind the masks showed us that we aren’t alone in our struggles. No judgment—just support. The takeaway is that once the masks come off, we realize how much we actually have in common.

On 17/02/2026, the workshop „Bouldering for Mental Health“ was held at the gym Momentum Boulder, in Osijek. 🧗‍♂️

Seven participants tried bouldering for the first time under the guidance of a bouldering coach. Besides having a fun time, they had the opportunity to explore how the specific combination of intense mental and physical effort required in this sport affects their overall mood and body.

🧩 Bouldering is often compared to „a puzzle that you solve with your body“. It requires your complete concentration on tiny, precise movements while keeping your body constantly active.

It is no wonder that many say bouldering has a meditative effect on them! On top of that, a very supportive bouldering community makes a bouldering gym a safe space for many.

Did you know that eating disorders are not just about food? They are often deeply connected to anxiety, depression, obsessive thoughts, perfectionism, and the need for control. Eating disorders can affect anyone regardless of age, gender, body size, or background. That's why awareness and early recognition are very important!
If you notice yourself or someone close to you struggling, please remember that you are not alone. Recovery is possible, and it's okay to ask for help.💚
