Hanoi was filled with little routines that made it feel like home. 🤍

I lived in West Lake (Tay Ho), worked at Family Medical Practice on Kim Ma Street and rode my scooter to work every day.

I would have coffee at my local Cong Caphe, followed by lunch at a Japanese, Vietnamese or French restaurant. Weekends often included a visit to the Metropole Hotel, while Sundays were reserved for Mass in English.❤️

I loved the food, the people and their smiles, but living abroad also made me appreciate the things I had once taken for granted back home. 🫶🏻
