Happy New Year!!
Second week of Jan and the sun is finally out in full force and I'm loving every second of it 🌞🌞🌞
We finished 2022 strong in Deep Creek (photos below) but I'd really like to take it down a notch and slow down a bit. The next walk I'll be doing is the 26th of January. For many years now, I have stopped being able to celebrate this beautiful country of ours on this date. This morning walk will be a short 6km in Onkaparinga, where we'll have an opportunity to sit down, share some food and pause for a bit. I'm hoping for this to be few hours of mindfulness and a chance to acknowledge Kaurna people, Kaurna Country and 60000 years of culture, language and tradition.
