Interreg IPA Croatia-Serbia Interreg VI-A Programme Croatia-Serbia It represents continuation of successful cooperation between two countries established previous financial perspective.

Interreg IPA Cross-border Cooperation Programme Croatia-Serbia 2014-2020 is a new cooperation programme envisaged to be implemented during financial period 2014-2020. The overall aim of this Programme is to strengthen the social, economic and territorial development of the Programme area through implementation of joint interventions in the areas of health and social care, environment protection an

d sustainable energy, development of sustainable tourism and strengthening of competitiveness and business environment. The overall budget of the Programme for period 2014-2020 is 40.344.930 EUR out of which EU funding (85%) is 34.293.188 EUR and 6.051.742 EUR represents national co-financing (15%). The programme area includes 4 counties on the north-east of Croatia and 5 districts on north-west of Serbia.

📢 Project Implementation Manual (PIM) – Version 3 is now available!

The updated Project Implementation Manual (PIM) – Version 3, together with its annexes, has been published for beneficiaries of the Interreg VI-A IPA Croatia–Serbia Programme.

The revised manual includes updated guidance and clarifications to support efficient and compliant project implementation. All beneficiaries are kindly requested to use Version 3 when implementing their projects.

The Siga2Kazuk project has successfully completed its second training workshop for remote pilots of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). 🚁🌲

Through a combination of theoretical and practical sessions, participants strengthened their skills in safe UAV operations, flight planning, risk assessment, and the use of drone technology for forest monitoring and sustainable forest management.

By enhancing the capacities of project partners, the workshop contributes to more efficient environmental monitoring, improved protection of forest ecosystems, and stronger cross-border cooperation.

Every exchange of knowledge is an opportunity to create a better future for children 👩🧑

The first training for exchange of experience and practice was held at the Centar za nestalu i zlostavljanu djecu in Osijek as part of the MOSAIC cross-border cooperation project between Croatia and Serbia.

✅ The training brought together professionals dedicated to supporting children and young people with behavioral difficulties and those in conflict with the law.

✅ Goal of the MOSAIC project is to build a more effective support systems for vulnerable children and youth.

🤝 Together, we are creating stronger partnerships and better opportunities for every child to receive the support they need.

A major milestone for culture, creativity and education! 🎉

The Creative Children's Centre IDEM 👉a one-of-a-kind facility in this part of Europe, co-financed through the Innatus - Initiative for Naïve Art and Sustainable Tourism project👈 was officially opened in Ernestinovo. The opening ceremony was attended by senior officials of the Government of the Republic of Croatia, led by Prime Minister Andrej Plenković.

✅ The new centre offers more than 1,200 square metres of inspiring space for children, young people and the wider community. It features a multimedia hall for performances, conferences and public events, four modern classrooms designed for creative workshops and STEM activities, exhibition space, and dedicated offices for local associations.

👉 One of the centre's highlights is its cutting-edge technology, including next-generation virtual reality (VR) equipment. These innovative tools will allow children to discover local traditions and naïve art in a fun, immersive and interactive way, making the Creative Children's Centre IDEM one of the region's most advanced cultural and educational facilities.

Training in Water Intervention Held

As part of the I.D. Danube project, a three-day training “Education in Water Intervention” was conducted in Novi Sad and Bačka Palanka for 25 members of specialist water rescue and intervention teams from the Republic of Serbia.

👉 The project not only strengthens the capacities of fire and rescue units but also fosters the establishment of sustainable cooperation between relevant institutions for joint crisis management in the cross-border area.
