📺 Hévíz on Slovak Television!

Special local stories, interesting people and a different perspective – this is what Hauzer Viliam, the Hungarian correspondent for Slovak Television (STVR), was looking for around Lake Balaton. During the summer filming, the crew also visited Hévíz, where HéVIPart stepped in front of the camera. 🎥

It is great to see local talents and creative initiatives spreading the word about Hévíz beyond Hungary’s borders.

An evening when even the heart started to dance… 💃

On 14 August, the Duna Art Ensemble brought the world of Hungarian folk dance and folk music to Hévíz with its performance “My Heart Is Playing” (Az én szívem játszik).

Lake Hévíz was built block by block in the world of Minecraft! ⛏️🎮

What happens when Lake Hévíz enters the world of Minecraft? The participants of the Creative Science summer camp showed us! This time, the children not only explored Hévíz but also set to work recreating the lake and its surroundings using the game’s iconic blocks.

This time, a special side of Hévíz was recreated in a virtual world: participants in the Creative Science summer Minecraft camp built Lake Hévíz in the popular game. In the children’s creations, the lake and its surroundings come to life through Minecraft’s characteristic blocks.
