Listen closely…

Bamboo swaying, leaves whispering, coffee brewing, yoga unfolding with the sun.

An eco sanctuary hidden in the heart of Canggu, where slow living, plant based nourishment, and nature still lead the way. 🌱

For those days when Canggu feels a little too loud, there’s still a place to hear yourself think.

Not fixed. Not explained. Just heard…

Your body was never the problem. It was always trying to tell you something.

The restless sleep, the racing mind, the heaviness that won’t lift. That’s not weakness. That’s your dosha, out of rhythm.

Ayurveda has known this for 5,000 years. And the answer was never to fix yourself. It was always to understand yourself.

If your mind and body have been asking for a deeper kind of care🦋, we hold that space at Ubuntu Bali:

Some days, the most radical thing you can do is stop thinking and just move.

Ecstatic Dance is a free-form movement journey, no steps to follow, no performance to give. Just you, the music, and whatever you’ve been carrying. The rhythm takes you somewhere words can’t. Some people leap. Some people cry. Some people barely move at all, and that’s exactly enough.🟣

Guided by , whose music doesn’t just move the room, it moves what’s stuck inside you.

This is not a dance class. It’s a space to come back to yourself.

Every Thursday, 6pm. Ubuntu Bali is holding the space.

Come as you are. Move as you feel.🕺

Why do so many men avoid the mat?
“I’m not flexible enough.”
“It’s not a real workout.”

If you ask most men why they skip yoga, you’ll usually hear one of these common hesitations. But flexibility isn’t a prerequisite for yoga—it is the result.

Tap the Reel to hear unpack the common stigmas surrounding men in yoga, and why true strength isn’t just about heavy lifting

It’s time to shift the perspective.

Our shala is a welcoming, ego-free space for everyone. Come exactly as you are.

The myth that causes the most injury in yoga is not about flexibility or strength. It is about quantity.

More classes. Longer holds. Deeper backbends. Push through. No days off. The idea that the body is an obstacle to be overcome, and that the way to overcome it is relentless effort.

This is not yoga. It is a different thing wearing yoga's clothes.

Tapas, one of the Niyamas, the personal observances of the practice -- is often translated as discipline or austerity. And practitioners use it to justify exactly the above. But Tapas in the classical sense means the sustained, consistent heat of practice. Not ferocity. Consistency. The fire that burns steadily, not the one that consumes.

Patanjali was specific about this: Sthira Sukham Asanam. The posture should be steady and at ease. Steady and at ease. Not gripped, not forced, not pushed past the edge of the breath. The moment effort becomes strain, you have left the practice and entered something else.
Rest is part of the method. In Ashtanga, Saturdays are always off. New and full moon days are off. The body is not a machine, and the tradition understood this long before sports science confirmed it.

If you have ever pushed through pain in a class, or felt guilty for missing a day, this is worth sitting with. What is the actual intention behind the effort?
