Reposted from So excited to have my competition pistol back! I sent it off to Lazy Wolf Guns for some upgrades and I’m so happy with the results! I got the signature Larry Vickers HK VP9 package which included the Master Reduced Reset Action Package - full custom action smoothing, tuning and reduced reset plus elimination of excessive over travel. They also installed new Trijicon fiber optic sights, an extended magazine release and the LWG F2 flat face trigger.
I tested her out at our A Girl and A Gun Fayetteville chapter meeting this morning, and I’m so happy with the smoothness of the trigger. The reduced weight of the pull is great too. This gunsmithing plus my awesome Jerkman Customs grip panels, and this gun is perfect for me! I added the Jerkman Customs grips for extra grit to help my grip, and they don’t add extra bulk (which I don’t need because my hands are small). I love the weight and the size of the VP9 and that it’s completely ambidextrous.
Ready to put her to the real test at CCRPC 3 GUN benefitting Memorial 3 Gun Foundation next weekend and the first week of August!

“I am changing my optic to Holosun 508t for a bigger window primarily because the suppressor height sights tend to block 50% of the RMR window which means zeroing again. Having complete confidence in my zero is a must. I check the rough zero from the factory at 3 yards using federal 124, then confirm a 10 yard zero, and refine for windage at 25 yards. Finally in accuracy nerd mode, I shoot a 10-inch plate at a 100 yards trying for a couple of hits.”
