It is official. The 5 Bs Self-Care Group opens this fall.
Six Sundays. A small, closed virtual circle of 6 to 10 people. A gentle, structured space to practice caring for yourself on purpose, built on the 5 Bs framework: Breath, Boundaries, Belonging, Balance, and Belief.
This is not another webinar you watch with the camera off. It is a circle that knows your name, checks in with you between sessions, and measures your growth from the first Sunday to the last.
Sundays beginning August 30, 6:30 PM Central. $75 per session, $450 for all six weeks. And the timing is no accident: five of our six Sundays fall inside September, Self-Care Awareness Month. There is no better month to stop reading about self-care and start practicing it.
Reserve your seat at selfcarewithmyra.com. Registration closes when we begin.
For educational purposes only. Not therapy, diagnosis, or treatment.

This is what six weeks in the circle includes:
A weekly check-in between sessions, so the practice does not wait for Sunday. A guided workbook, yours to keep, with space for the honest version of your answers. A before-and-after self-care assessment, so your growth is measured, not guessed. An individualized self-care plan to carry you into the next season. And the support of a small, closed circle, from the first Sunday to the last.
Sundays at 6:30 PM Central, beginning August 30. 75 to 90 minutes. Virtual. $450 for all six weeks.
Reserve your seat at selfcarewithmyra.com.
For educational purposes only. Not therapy, diagnosis, or treatment.

Finish the sentence honestly: I will deserve care when...
Everything is done? Everyone else is okay? I have earned it?
Whatever you answered is a rule somebody once taught you. And rules can be rewritten. In week five of The 5 Bs Self-Care Group, we go to the root: the conditions we attach to our own worth, and the gentler truth underneath them. You are worthy of care because you are a person. Full stop.
Six Sundays, beginning August 30. Reserve your seat at www.selfcarewithmyra.com.
For educational purposes only. Not therapy, diagnosis, or treatment.

A boundary is not a punishment you hand to someone else. It is a decision you make about where your energy goes and what it is used for. Most of us learned to say yes quickly and reconsider later, which leaves very little of us for the things that matter most. The work of Boundaries begins as an internal conversation, not an announcement, and that conversation asks you to be honest about what you can carry right now. What is one commitment on your calendar this week that no longer matches the energy you have to give?

A busy brain can convince you that you are facing the day alone, even when you are not. Sending one message to someone you care about, even a single word, breaks that isolation and reminds you that you belong to a wider circle. Belonging is one of the 5 Bs because connection steadies us in ways solitude cannot. This small reach outward is both a gift to another person and a quiet form of care for yourself. Who is the first person who comes to mind?

Self-care is not only what we do for ourselves. It is also the time we take to celebrate the people we love. Today my daughter turns 21, and I am savoring every moment of pouring into her. Watching her step into this new year, surrounded by people who adore her, is its own kind of restoration. Belonging begins at home, in the bonds we tend with care.
Happy 21st birthday to my girl. Who are you pouring into this season?

If your ADHD brain moves faster than the moment you are in, this reset can help you land. Look around and name what you see, name what you hear, then take one slow breath with a longer exhale. It will not erase a hard day, and it offers a quick, portable way to steady yourself. If ADHD regularly disrupts your daily life, a qualified clinician can help you build support that fits you.
Save this one for later, and share it with someone whose mind runs fast too.

Travel has a way of teaching patience. Somewhere between the gate and the runway, I learned that stillness is not the opposite of moving forward. It is what makes the journey sustainable. The next time you are waiting, let it be rest rather than restlessness.
How do you care for yourself in the in-between moments?
