💚WHY CHOOSE NATURAL SOAP?
💚The Environmental Impact!
There are a few key differences between Natural Soaps and commercially, mass produced soaps.
💚Big commercial soap producers use vegetable oils and/or animal fat mixed to make soaps and add numerous petrochemicals like foam enhancers, preservatives, colorants, and synthetic fragrance to produce bars that LOOK LIKE soap.
💚They remove the natural glycerin from the soap so the soap becomes hard and drying. They reduce the price by mass production using petrochemicals and palm oil (cheapest plant based oil available, and the largest cause of rainforest deforestation) but as a result you, the customer, develops more dry skin conditions like eczema, psoriasis etc.
💚Always remember that your skin is porous and absorbent. It absorbs whatever it comes in contact with. Using chemical laden products will cause the body to store the chemicals in the body fat or even in the brain. With enough accumulations of toxins in the body, illness can occur.
💚These chemicals and toxins are now finding their way into our eco-system. Every time that lather goes down the drain, those pollutants are going with it. I don't want to scare you, you can do that to yourself by going onto google but it's not just the human race that is effected by this pollution, we are literally wiping out our marine and land animals.
💚Naturally soaps are made with plant based oils & butters, sustainably sourced (some beginning in my own garden😉) and with only high quality essential oils for fragrance. They are palm oil free and vegan.
💚On a personal note, I made the decision very early on not to wrap my soap in plastic and not to use excess packaging. My bar of soap comes to you wrapped in recycled paper, with the necessary info on it. You can pop it on your compost heap!
💚Pop your bar of soap for the shower in an environmentally friendly bamboo wash bag and you can wash with it and then leave it to hang & dry and ensure your bar lasts even longer.
