Gerard, formally of Hillhead, Ardara, passed away peacefully in the wonderful care of Donegal Town Community Hospital
after navigating a long and challenging illness, borne with dignity and bravery, never losing his fiercely independent spirit, sense of humour and love of life.
Gerard will be sadly missed by his wife Noelle and his sister Marian together with his nieces, nephews extended family and loyal friends.

Predeceased by his parents Thomas and Nellie, infant brother Patrick, sisters Eileen, Gladys and Frances

His remains will repose at his residence this evening Sunday 11th of October from 4p.m to 8p.m and tomorrow Monday 12th October from 1p.m to 7p.m house strictly private at all other times .Funeral from there on Tuesday morning 11a.m to The Church of the Holy Family Ardara for 12 noon Funeral mass followed by private Family Cremation at Lilly Hill Cremation Letterkenny.

The peaceful death has occured of Ella Long Mulantyboyle,Glenties.

Surrounded by her loving children and grandchildren.

Predeceased by her beloved husband Bobby.

Forever loved and sorely missed by her loving children Robert (Laraine rip), Elaine (Jimmy) and William. Her grandchildren, Saphran, Amy, Oliver and Bobby. Her sisters Margaret (Tommy rip), Mae (Wesley), Jean (Derek) and brother PJ nieces, nephews and close friends.
Her remains will repose at her residence F94F2P2 tomorow Monday 28th September from 3p.m to 8p.m and on Tuesday 29th June from 3p.m to 8pm. Funeral from there on Wednesday at 1.30p.m to Glenties Church of Ireland F94EY11 for 2pm service burial afterwards in the adjoining graveyard.
House private please on the morning of the funeral.
There will be a one way system in operation to the wake house with entry at Mulantyboyle road and exit at Conaghans old hardware store .

Family Acknowledgement/Month’s Mind Mass for the late Des Corley, Glebe, Donegal Town.

The family of the late Des Corley R.I.P., wish to express our sincere gratitude to all who sympathised with us on our recent and sad bereavement of Des, a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend. He is deeply missed by his loving wife Maura, his children Deborah (Donal), Paul (Catriona), Edel (Martin), Aidan (Corinna), Nuala (Ian), Claire (Kieron) and Caitriona (Paul) ; his 14 adored grandchildren; his sister Teresa; nieces, nephews and extended family.

We are deeply grateful for the kindness, support and compassion shown during Des's wake and funeral. Our heartfelt thanks to all those who travelled from near and far to offer their condolences and help in any way throughout the wake and funeral. Your kindness and generosity will always be remembered.

We also extend our sincere appreciation to everyone who sent Mass cards, messages of sympathy, floral tributes or joined online.

A special word of thanks to Fr. Pearse McMullin and Fr. James Gillespie for visiting Des at his home. Our sincere thanks to Fr.James for his guidance and spiritual support and as celebrant of the beautiful Funeral Mass, together with Fr. Pearse. We thank all those who participated in the Mass. Our sincere thanks to Bernie, Gerry and Maeve for the beautiful music, to the sacristans for all their assistance in the church and to Ger for the beautiful flowers.

We are deeply grateful to the nurses and doctors of Letterkenny University Hospital as well as the CIT team, Palliative Care Nurses, Public Health Nurses, Night Nurse, ambulance staff, Dr. Mark Boyce and Dr. Beverly Huss and the staff of Cara Pharmacy, for the exceptional care and kindness shown to Des throughout his illness.

We are sincerely appreciative to all of Des’s personal carers throughout his illness, the Home Help staff of the HSE and Irish Home Care, along with the carers from the Alzheimer’s Society of Ireland. Your compassion and gentle manner in caring for Des will be fondly remembered.

A sincere thank you to John Cassidy, Cassidy Brothers Funeral Directors and Kieran and Kevin Shovlin from Shovlin Funeral Directors for the professional, dignified and caring manner in which they assisted with the funeral. We also thank the grave diggers who prepared Des's final resting place with such care and respect.

To all who brought food and refreshments to and during the wake, your thoughtfulness and generosity were greatly appreciated.

A special word of thanks to the members of An Garda Síochána, including serving, retired and Garda staff members who took part in the guard of honor and escorted Des to St. Patrick's Church where he was welcomed by his Donegal Dragons team members.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our deepest appreciation and heartfelt gratitude.

The unexpected death of Michelle Gildea has taken place at Stonepark, Glenties, Co. Donegal, on 17th September 2026.

Michelle was a devoted and loving mother whose three children were the centre of her world. She will be deeply and sadly missed by her beloved children, Hannah, Stephen and Sophia, whom she adored beyond words.

She will also be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her father Martin, her sister Marina, brother-in-law Paul, her nephews Aidan and Mark, and by the wider Gildea and McGarry families, along with her many friends and all who knew and loved her.

Michelle was predeceased by her wonderful mother, Anne, whom she loved dearly.

Michelle leaves behind a lifetime of love, cherished memories and a family who will carry her with them always.

May her gentle soul rest in peace.

Reposing at her father’s residence at Storm Hill, Ardara, Co. Donegal (F94H9D5 ) on Saturday, 19th September, from 4pm to 9pm, and on Sunday, 20th September, from 12pm to 9pm.

Funeral Mass will take place at The Church of the Holy Family, Ardara, at 12 noon on Monday, 21st September, followed by cremation at Lilly Hill Crematorium, Letterkenny, at 4pm.

Acknowledgement and First Anniversary
As we mark the first anniversary of our dear Mother’s passing, we express our deepest gratitude to everyone who supported and comforted us.

A heartfelt thanks to all the staff at Letterkenny hospital and all the kind nurses who visited our home. A special thanks to everyone at Donegal Hospice, we are eternally grateful for the gentle care you provided to our Mother and the kindness and support you extended to all of us.

Our sincere thanks to Fr Philip Daly for his support, and for celebrating a beautiful funeral Mass, also to Kieran and Family at Shovlins Funeral Home and the grave diggers for their professionalism and guidance throughout.

Special thanks to Bernadine and the team at the Dolmen Centre for providing refreshments and a welcoming space for us to gather, and to Emer at The Oak and Rose for the beautiful floral tributes.

To all our relatives, neighbours and friends who attended the wake and Funeral, sent Mass cards, messages of sympathy, travelled to be with us or made donations to Donegal Hospice, your kindness has brought us great comfort. A Message from Casey’s Family
We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude and sincere thanks to everyone who offered their
condolences, sent Mass cards and messages,attended Casey’s wake and funeral, and for all the people who helped out and supported our
family during this heartbreaking time.
To everyone who came to say goodbye to our beautiful Casey, thank you for giving him such a loving and dignified send-off.
Although Casey was with us for a short time, he brought so much love and happiness into our lives. He was
deeply loved and cherished by his Mum (Aoife),Dad (Gavin), sisters (Amy and Lucy), brothers (Jayden and Logan), and all his wider family and friends. The memories we have of our precious
Casey will remain in our hearts forever.
Our heartfelt thanks go to our family, friends,neighbours and wider community for surrounding us with love, kindness and support when we needed it most. We will never forget every message, visit, prayer and kind gesture.
A very special thank you to the first responders and paramedics who attended Casey. We are forever grateful for the care, compassion and
dignity you showed our beautiful boy and our family during such a heartbreaking time.
We would also like to sincerely thank the
doctors, nurses and all the staff at Letterkenny General Hospital who cared for Casey. Your kindness, compassion and support meant more to us than words can say.
A special thank you to Dean Conaghan for singing at Casey’s funeral. Your beautiful voice made the Mass so special and was a touching tribute to our precious boy. We are truly grateful.
Our sincere thanks to Fr. Boyle for the beautiful Mass and funeral service he gave for Casey, and for the kindness, comfort and support he showed to our family throughout such a difficult
time. Your prayers and comforting words meant so much to us, and we will always remember your kindness.

beginning. You guided us through every step and treated Casey with the utmost dignity and respect. Thank you for helping us give Casey the beautiful farewell he deserved. Also a thank you

The death has occurred of Des Corley.

Glebe, Donegal Town, Co. Donegal formerly of Clarna, Magheraney, Smithboro, Co. Monaghan.

Peacefully at his home, surrounded by his loving family.

Des will be deeply missed by his beloved wife Maura, his children Deborah (Donal), Paul (Catriona), Edel (Martin), Aidan (Corinna), Nuala (Ian), Claire (Kieron), Caitriona (Paul).

Des will be sadly missed by his adoring grandchildren, John, Brian, Kevin, Eoghan, Shane, Dáire, Lee, Tori, Matthew, Chloe, Sarah, CJ, Conor and Aaron, his sister Theresa, his many nieces, nephews and a wide circle of family, friends and neighbours.

Des is predeceased by his parents, Andrew and Bridget, his brothers, Patsy and John, his sisters Mary and Sr Monica and his baby sister Rita.

May Des rest in eternal peace.
