The death has occurred of Bridie Taaffe (née Finn), Roestown, Ardee, Co. Louth, formerly of Edenderry, Co. Offaly. Bridie passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by her loving family, on 7th July 2026, in her 93rd year.

Predeceased by her beloved husband Paddy, parents Elizabeth and Laurence, sisters Ann-Jane, her twin sister who died at birth, Maggie and Betty, and brothers Sean, Laurence, Eddie, Pat Joe and Michael. Bridie will be sadly missed by her children Pat (Eileen), Valerie (Michael), Mary (Pat), Joan (Peter) and Bryan, her fourteen cherished grandchildren Patrick, Aoife, Cillian, Senan, Cliodhna, Conor, Caelum, Ryan, Marc, Jamie, Katelyn, Aoibheann, Sean and Declan, great-granddaughter Ruby, sisters Philomena and Carmel, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at her home (A92 YH11) on Wednesday, 8th July, and Thursday, 9th July, from 4pm to 8pm.

Funeral cortège leaving her home at 11.15am on Friday, 10th July, driving to the Church of the Nativity of Our Lady, Ardee, for Funeral Mass at 12 noon, followed by burial afterwards in Ballapousta Cemetery.

The death has occurred of Marian Murphy (née Morgan), Lower Rath, Mullacrew, Co. Louth, on Thursday, 2nd July 2026. Marion passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her parents May and Noel Morgan, daughter Samantha and sister Patricia.

Deeply regretted by her loving husband Colm, sons Paul, Brian and Noel, daughters Denise and twin daughters Louise and Lorraine, stepson Eddie, her fourteen grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, sisters Noleen, Barbara, Olive, Elaine and Geraldine, brothers Sean, James, Nicholas and Kenneth, relatives, friends and neighbours.

Reposing at her home, Lower Rath, Mullacrew (A91 X856), on Friday, 3rd July, from 5pm to 8pm and on Saturday, 4th July, from 2pm to 6pm.

Removal on Sunday, 5th July, at 12.10pm to the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Louth Village, arriving for Funeral Mass at 12.30pm, followed by burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

The death has occurred of Pauline Kane (née Dolan), BallybaiIie, Ardee, Co. Louth, 26th June 2026. Pauline passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, at Ferdia Lodge, Ardee.

Predeceased by her husband Dan, daughter Geraldine, grandson Mark, parents Jack and Mary Dolan, sister Dympna, and brothers Tony, Seán and Andy.

Pauline will be sadly missed by her loving family, Mary (Tony), Bernadette (Gerry), Tony (Carmel), Pat, Paul (Brenda) and Yvonne (Paul), her 14 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, sisters Cely, Lily, Nuala and Nell, brother Paddy, extended family, neighbours and friends.

The death has occurred of P.J. Geraghty, John St, Ardee, Co.Louth. P.J. passed away peacefully at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, surrounded by his loving family, on 18th June 2026.

PJ will be sadly missed by his loving wife Breda and his six sons Peter (Caroline), Kevin, Martin (Fiona), John, David and Michéal, his grandchildren, his sisters Mary (McKay), Rosie (McQuillan), Dolores (McQuillan), extended family, neighbours and friends.

Paddy passed away peacefully at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, surrounded by his devoted wife Geraldine and family.
Paddy will be sadly missed by his loving wife Geraldine and his children Jimmy (Gaye), Brenda (Anthony) and Christopher (Margaret), grandchildren Kelly, Karen and Richard, great-grandchildren Tyler and Darcie, brothers Jimmy and Willie, sister Alice, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Predeceased by her parents Nancy and Oliver Reilly, grandson Daibhóg and sister Ursula.

The death has occurred of Angela Mary McDonagh McGinley, Greenmount, Castlebellingham, Co. Louth, 1st June 2026. Angela passed away suddenly at her home.

Predeceased by her husband Tom McDonagh, grandparents Patrick and Bridget Doherty, Simon and Nan McGinley, brothers Paul and Ned, and her nephews Michael and Joe.
