🏔️ from the bottom of our big soggy soles go raibh míle maith agaibh 💛💛
€5,000+ raised for Futures in Mind! Four highest peaks of each province and many troughs along the way! Each peak with extreme winds and relentless rain, we went to some dark places.
20 hours driving. 24 hours hiking. 4,000 metres climbed. 7 headbangers who did all four. 24 legends who joined along the way, and one random lad taking a sh*te on top of the devil’s ladder!

Thank you soo so much for your very generous donations! the money you raised goes directly to providing free mental health support for anyone who needs it. Proper angels.
And this is exactly why we chose to work with them. Every charity in Ireland is required to publish their accounts which can be found on their website, it’s always worth checking your comfort with where the money goes before making a donation. This €5,000 is going directly to helping people whose mental health is suffering, through free services run by people who genuinely care. So I hope you know how valued your spondools are!

If you’re struggling, there are people who care and love you, but there are also people willing to work with you to get there! Futures in Mind is free, just give them a shout 0818 30 30 61
We’ve been there, we know what’s it’s like, even reading this means you’re nearly there.

5th Year Bipolar Bear talk! 🗣️

We were delighted to welcome past pupil Stephen Consadine back to his alma mater on Friday to give our 5th Year students a very important and informative talk on mental health and art.

BiPolar Bear Wear further reinforced our Positivity Week vibes by voluntarily giving this talk and instead requesting a donation to Futures In Mind to make students aware that their facility of free therapy is there if they are ever in need of it ❤️

Meet board member Stephen Considine, who has served on the Futures In Mind Board of Directors since 2024, but has been supporting the delivery of our programmes for much longer.

A passionate mental health advocate, Stephen is the founder of BiPolar Bear Wear, which has raised thousands of euro for our counselling services, as well as for other worthy charities. He is also a talented graphic designer and renowned artist.

An Arklow native, Stephen has used his creativity to support wider mental health initiatives, including his brilliant hike and walk initiative, Wibbly Wobbly Wonders.

Stephen is a valued asset to our team - thank you for your time and dedication Stephen.

The latest numbers from our helpline referrals show a 129% increase over the past two months. Our data reveals that 12-17 year olds continue to present in large numbers, with young women particularly struggling with self-harm and the pressures of social media use.

We continue to receive referrals from state agencies and other charities—and the need is greater than ever. If you'd like to support our services and ensure we're always there for young people in crisis, consider pledging a small amount each month. Your support changes lives. 💚 futuresinmind.ie/donate
