First year anniversary & Acknowledgement
As we lovingly remember Jimmy on his first anniversary, wife Valerie, son Conor, sisters, Margaret (McCarthy), Pauline (O’Connell) & Nicola (Bishop), mother In law, Anne, brothers in law, nieces & nephews would like to acknowledge the many gestures of kindness shown to us throughout Jimmy's illness and in the time since.
Sincere thanks to our colleagues in Athlone Community Services, Chartered Accountants Ireland and Scoil na gCeithre Maistri who showed us great kindness, compassion and support during and in the months since Jimmy’s illness journey.
We would also like to acknowledge those who helped care for Jimmy in particular the Palliative Care team, with a special mention to Mairead & Aileen who looked after Jimmy with great care, compassion and dignity.
Thank you to Fr Pat Murphy who celebrated Jimmy's funeral mass along with the choir from Scoil na gCeithre Maistri who provided music during the mass. Thanks to Flynn’s undertaker, McEnroe Stone and staff at the Shamrock Lodge Hotel whose guidance and professionalism did not go unnoticed.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone, please accept this acknowledgement as a token as our deep appreciation for all your support, kind words and love shown to Jimmy and our family.
Jimmy's first anniversary mass will be celebrated on 11 October at 10:00am in St. Mary’s Church, Athlone.
