Our volunteers are making a difference every day! 🚑❤️

Over the past few weeks, our crews have provided ambulance and foot crew medical cover at concerts, family fun days, football matches and community events.

They’ve also supported local people with patient transport to hospital appointments, while continuing regular training to keep their skills sharp and stay ready to respond.

Thank you to all our volunteers for your time, energy and compassion—and to the communities and organisers who welcome us so warmly.

Volunteering with the Palmerstown team is a rewarding way to support local people, build confidence and develop practical first-aid and emergency response skills.

There are opportunities to get involved in ambulance support, event medical cover, foot crew duties and patient transport, with training and support provided along the way. Whether you can give a regular commitment or help out when you’re available, your time can make a real difference.

🎉 Massive congratulations to our Cadets Donnacha and Aoife, on winning the trophy for Home Nursing at the Order of Malta All Ireland Cadet Competitions in Lisnaskea yesterday! 🏆👏

All the hard work, training, and determination paid off, and we couldn’t be prouder of you all.

You represented Palmerstown and the Eastern Region with skill, confidence, and a fantastic team spirit—what an incredible achievement!

A huge thank you also goes to our amazing cadet leaders, whose dedication, encouragement, patience (and probably endless cups of tea! ☕😂) helped make this success possible. Your commitment to developing our cadets doesn’t go unnoticed, and this victory is something you should all be proud of.

A special few days in Lourdes for members of Palmerstown Unit.

From moments of quiet reflection at the Grotto, to lighting candles in prayer and supporting pilgrims throughout the sanctuary, this pilgrimage is a powerful reminder of why we volunteer — in service to “Our Lords the Sick and Our Lords the Poor” with compassion, dignity, and community at the heart of everything we do.

We are proud to represent our community and to stand alongside fellow volunteers and friends, caring for those who need it most while sharing in such a meaningful and spiritual experience.

It’s been another busy weekend with our Volunteers covering a number of events.

Saturday saw us covering Trinity College Rugby as well as the 3Arena and then our crew had an early start today for a duathlon in The Phoenix Park.

It was especially nice to have Ben back covering duties with us for the weekend. We may not let him return to Order Of Malta Ireland - Ambulance Corps - Omagh…..

Palmerstown would like to extend our deepest and most heartfelt sympathies to Order of Malta - Blanchardstown Unit and Niamh’s family, friends, and all those who had the privilege of knowing and working alongside her.

She will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all whose lives she touched.

Today our Cadets competed against their counterparts from Order of Malta Ireland - Ambulance Corps - Eastern Region in their regional competitions.

Everyone did very well and we are so proud of the work they put in to get ready today and the skills demonstrated by each one.

Congratulations to our Junior Home Nursing team who came 3rd, our CPR team who took 2nd 🥈 and to our Senior Home Nursing Team who took 1st 🥇

Thank you to our cadet leaders Bronagh and Orlagh for you time and dedication to the cadets.
