i've not been well so just getting back to info again, i havent been tested so don't know if it was covid but had symptoms of shortness of breath, cough, constricted sore chest, loss of appettite, nausea and achy kidneys. I am presuming it was and from reading the info from doctors all over the world, covid does seem to go for peoples underlying weakspot.. yet to proven but it's my gut on this, i will start posting info again but sorry will be just posting in bits and bobs for the minute as i hvae a lot to catch up on butn will tie the into together when i can but til then will post links to info on what I have found helpful

Diaphoretic herbs help keep the pathogen from going from the more superficial level to the deeper levels.. superficial level is where u may have a sore throat, sneezing etc, pale phlegm etc.. were as i mean by deeper level, down into the lungs causing infection, fever etc.. this article will explain better than me, u use warming diaphoretics like ginger, cinnamon if u have chills, feel cold, have pale phlegm, no fever and use cooling ones if you have heat symptoms like mint, elderflower etc...

In accordance with Chinese Materia Medica, it is bitter and sour in flavor and slightly cold in properties and goes to two meridians of liver and gall bladder. Main functions include quickening blood circulation to dissipate stasis, dispelling wind and removing obstruction in the meridians, clearing heat and promoting diuresis, and detoxification. Essential uses and indications are amenorrhea, dysmenorrhea, endless lochia after delivery, concretions and gatherings, traumatic injury, wind-damp impediment pain, damp-heat jaundice, stranguria with turbid discharge and morbid leucorrhea, sores, snakebite, burn due to hot liquid or fire.
