Passed away peacefully at Sligo University Hospital on 16 March 2026, surrounded by his loving family.
He will be sadly missed, fondly remembered and forever loved by his devoted partner Ann, his loving daughters Clare and Debbie, his cherished grandchildren Odhran, Cara, Charlotte, Jack, Georgie and Kian, his sons-in-law Diarmaid and Chris, the Lavin family, and his wider circle of family and friends.

Reposing at The Gibbons Funeral Home, Ballinagare, Roscommon, on Friday 20 March from 11.30am to 1:00pm. Removal afterwards to Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan, arriving for 3:00pm service.

RYAN, Catherine - (Drummin, Ballinagare and Brothers of Charity, Aughmagree House, Kilteevan, Co Roscommon). September 3rd, 2025 - (Peacefully), surrounded by her loving family.

Much loved daughter of the late Terence and Maureen, dear sister of the late Eva and Vincent and aunt of the late Katie and John.

Forever missed by her sisters Mary and Ann, brothers Benny and Eamon, sister-in-law Jackie, brother-in-law David, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews and her wonderful circle of carers and friends in the Brothers of Charity Community.

Reposing at Smythโ€™s Funeral Home, Roscommon on Thursday from 3 oโ€™c until 5 oโ€™c.

Reposing in The Gibbons Funeral Home, Ballinagare on Friday evening from 5 oโ€™clock to conclude with evening prayer at 7 oโ€™clock.

Funeral will arrive to the Church of the Sacred Heart, Ballinagare for Mass of the Resurrection Saturday at 12 noon with burial afterwards in Drummin Cemetery
