8 years ago, I was learning how to walk again after brain surgery.

This week, I walked 80km for a little girl fighting her own battle.

Life has taken me through victories, failures, detours, heartbreak, addiction, healing, and more fresh starts than I can count. Looking back, every chapter had something to teach me.

My brain surgery was 8 years ago tomorrow. It’s hard to believe.

There was a time when my life was fading away. A time in which I asked the world for support and without a mass collective of beautiful souls, I wouldn’t be here today offering the same gift to this little angel.

Adversity builds character. It brings us closer to our hearts, to our people. To have to face a battle like this at 9 is unimaginable to me. From experience, I know that Eve has an opportunity to become a shining light on our species and I’d love to give her the best chance of doing just that!

Follow for updates. He’s a wonderful being with a pure heart. What he is doing for this little woman is incredible!

The first follower interaction.

Instead of feeling proud, I felt shame.

This video is about imperfections, self judgement, honesty and the pressure we place on ourselves to have it all figured out.

In reality, it’s difficult to human and we’re all doing our very best within this miraculous, strange existence.

Truthfully, I’m still learning, still navigating and still human.

Why do we have to suffer?

A question that’s been popping in and out of my head since I was a little boy. Some of my earliest memories are of me as a little being in bed finding it hard to sleep as I feared the idea of death.

As time has gone on and experience has been collected, these are a consolidation of what I’ve come up with thus far.

I’d love to hear your thoughts on this question. What it means to suffer. Something that we all intimately experience both individually and collectively down here on earth.

Balance, a work in constant motion.

Before we find harmony within the collective, we are going to have to find it within.

Not an easy task by any means given the current state of society, but alas we keep getting back on the line. We keep trying. We do our best 🫶🏼

Balance is the theme of the week.

I spoke about this in detail whilst slacklining in a longer video yesterday.

I thought it would be nice to share this practice of mine. Seeing your time in front of you can be a profound experience.

It helps me to understand what behaviours I need to hold on to, and what ones aren’t serving my growth.

Get back up. Keep returning to yourself.

Balance takes making mistakes. It takes a lot of effort. But eventually, it is rewards us with such joy.
