PH Sports Injury and Rehabilitation Our objective is to diagnose the source of your pain, develop an effective treatment and rehabilitation plan which will aid your recovery.

PH Sports Injury and Rehabilitation was established in 2014 by Clare Pierce and Vicky Hennessy. Both Clare and Vicky graduated from the Institute of Technology Carlow with a Bachelor of Science Honours Degree in Sports Rehabilitation and Athletic Therapy. At PH Sports Injury and Rehabilitation our objective is to diagnose the source of your pain and to develop a customised and effective treatment

plan for you. We then create a personalised rehabilitation programme which further aids and maintains your recovery. How do you know if PH Sports Injury and Rehabilitation is for you? At PH Sports Injury and Rehabilitation we deal with an extensive and diverse patient demographic. All pain and injuries are catered for, whether they occur at work, home or in the field of play. Since 2006, the GAA Medical, Scientific and Player Welfare Committee has been working with UCD Physiotherapy in developing a framework for injury prevention in Gaelic Games.

The first phase of this has been the National GAA Injury database, where participating inter-county teams have registered injuries throughout the playing season. We now have information from 2007-2015 which gives us a clear picture of the type, nature and mechanisms of injuries incurred in football and hurling.
