Month’s Mind & Acknowledgement
The family of the late Chris Cooney, who passed from this life on 3rd May 2026, wish to express their heartfelt gratitude to all those who sympathised with them on their recent bereavement.
We sincerely thank our relatives, friends, neighbours and everyone who attended the wake, funeral mass and burial, sent mass cards, sympathy cards, messages of condolence, brought food, helped in any way and supported us throughout this difficult time.
A special word of thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff at Craigavon Area Hospital, who cared for Chris with such kindness, dignity and compassion during his final days.
We also extend our sincere appreciation to Fr. Dermot for celebrating a beautiful Requiem Mass, Deacon Paul for his prayerful participation at the graveside. To the sacristan Geraldine and grave diggers for preparing the church and grave with such care and attention to detail. To Peter McCaughey Funeral Directors for their professional and caring guidance and support.
A special word of thanks to Mc Entees for catering in the Community Centre, also to the people who travelled long distances to be with us during our time of need. A sincere word of thanks to those who donated to Craigavon Area Hospital ICU.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere appreciation.
Chris is deeply missed every day and will forever remain in the hearts of his loving wife Kathleen, sons Anthony and Darragh, daughters-in-law Briege and Grainne, cherished grandchildren Dáithi, Bláithín, Donncha, Aogán and Réalta, and the entire family circle.
