The death has occurred of Patrick (Paddy) Ferguson, Dublin Road, Poles, Cavan and late of Kilnacor, Crosskeys, Co. Cavan, 17th June 2026. Paddy passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, in the wonderful care of the staff of Cavan General Hospital.

Predeceased by his brothers Tony, James and Michael.

Beloved husband of Mary and dear brother of Mary (Michael Kavanagh), Anna (John Tuite), Terry (Mae) and Pauline. Sadly missed by his sisters-in-law Joan and Lyda, the Mulvey family, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, wonderful friend and carer Dermot King, relatives and many friends.

May His Gentle Soul Rest in Peace.

Reposing at Lakelands Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Cavan, on Friday, 19th June, from 5pm until 8pm.

Reposing at his home on Saturday for family, neighbours and close friends, from 5pm until 7pm.

Removal on Sunday afternoon at 1pm to St. Matthew's Church, Crosskeys, arriving for Requiem Mass at 2pm, followed by burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Family flowers only, please. Donations in lieu to St. Christopher's Hospice.

The Wright family would like to extend our heartfelt and sincere thanks to all who supported us at this sad time following the death of Thomas. We are deeply grateful to those who sympathised with us, telephoned, sent text messages, sympathy cards and messages of condolence, and to everyone who travelled from near and far to attend Lakelands Funeral Home and Funeral Mass.

Thank you to our neighbours, relatives and friends for providing refreshments in our home. We also thank those who formed the many guards of honour.

Thank you to Fr. Kevin Fay and Fr. Gabriel Kelly for their support and for celebrating the Funeral Mass. We extend our sincere appreciation to Andrew Cronin, Declan Finnegan and Bernard McPhillips of Finnegan Funeral Directors for their professionalism, guidance and support in carrying out the funeral arrangements.

As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deep appreciation and gratitude.

The death has occurred of Michael Hoey, Railway Avenue, Killeshandra, Co. Cavan, formerly of Leachary, Crosserlough, Co. Cavan and Killester, Dublin, 15th June 2026. Michael passed away in the loving care of Cavan General Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.

Predeceased by his parents Michael and Kathleen, and brother Jack.

Michael will be sadly missed by his wife and best friend Patricia, sons Michael (Gillian) and Karl, daughter Celine, grandchildren Nicole, Chelsea, Abbie, Callum, Keira, Demi and Kole, sisters Geraldine and Bernie, nieces, nephews, family, friends and neighbours.
