The death has occurred of Matthew Patrick (Pat) Finn, Marshlands, Dromina, Co. Cork, 17th July 2026. Pat passed away peacefully after a brief illness at his home, in his 86th year, surrounded by his loving family.

Predeceased by his sisters Jacinta (Slattery) and Ann (Nolan).

Sadly missed by his loving wife Kathlyn (née Madigan), sons James and William, daughters Patricia and Deirdre, daughter-in-law Josephine (née Dick), sons-in-law Greg and Donal, William's partner Michael, his adored grandchildren Cathal, Eoin, Michael, Sarah, Aimee, Maeve, Rory, Zara and Kate, brothers Declan and Charlie, sisters Marie, Nora and Carmel, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives and good friends.

Reposing in O'Malley's Funeral Home, Newline, Charleville (P56 T184), on Saturday, 18th July, from 5pm to 7pm.

Arriving to St. Peter and Paul's Church, Dromina, on Sunday for 12.30pm Requiem Mass, followed by burial afterwards in Newtownshandrum New Cemetery.

Family flowers only, please. Donations, if desired, to Mercy University Hospital, Cork, and the Irish Cancer Society.

The death has occurred of Patrick (Paddy) O'Donovan, late of 2 Oliver Plunkett Place, Charleville, Co. Cork. Unexpectedly but peacefully at his residence on June 26th surrounded by his loving family.

Predeceased by his parents Patrick and Charlotte, and his brother John.

Deeply regretted by his beloved wife Eileen, sons Patrick, Michael, John, Kevin, Finbarr, Vincent and Brian, daughters Charlotte, Helen, Breda, Teresa, Margaret and Martina, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law Margaret and Martina, his adored 30 grandchildren, great-grandchildren, friends and neighbours.

Reposing in O'Malley's Funeral Home, Newline, Charleville (P56T184) on this Saturday evening June 27th from 5pm with removal at 7pm to Holy Cross Church, Charleville. Funeral Mass on Sunday at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in Holy Cross Cemetery.

The family have requested that children do not attend.

The death has occurred of Des Rafferty, Ballypierce, Charleville, Co. Cork on June 16th 2026. Des passed away peacefully at Glendonagh Nursing Home, Dungourney, Midleton, Co. Cork in the company of his daughter Deirdre.

Predeceased by his beloved wife Therese. Sadly missed and forever loved by his daughter, Deirdre, son-in-law William, adored grandchildren Lachlan and Conall, brothers Ken and Ian, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, cousins, nieces, nephews and a close circle of friends.

The death has occurred of William (Willie) McAuliffe, McAuliffe Hurleys, Smiths Road, Charleville, Co. Cork, 14th June 2026. Willie passed away peacefully at Windmill House Care Centre, Churchtown, surrounded by his loving family.

Predeceased by his beloved wife Noellie (née Noonan), infant daughter Elizabeth, brothers Mark and Dan, and sister Eileen.

Sadly missed and forever loved by his daughter Deirdre (O'Neill), sons Sean, Tony and Liam, son-in-law Seamus, daughters-in-law Mary, Treasa and Marie, adored grandchildren Aoife, Sinéad, Cian, Shona, Tara, Carrie, Leah, Garry, Orlaith and Bill, great-grandsons Kyle and Darren, sisters Mary and Nora, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces and a wide circle of friends.

The death has occurred of John Roche, Gibbonsgrove, Milford, Co. Cork, peacefully on May 30th at his residence surrounded by his loving family.

The death has occurred of Sheila (Julia) Fitzgerald (née O'Driscoll), Charleville, Co. Cork and formerly of Clydine, Kilcummin, Killarney, Co. Kerry, 25th May 2026. Sheila passed away peacefully at Mallow General Hospital surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her sister Mary Murrell (Killarney), brother Dan O'Driscoll (Kilcummin), sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.
Beloved wife of the late John (Jack) of Gloragh, Sneem, Co. Kerry, and beloved mother of Maura.

Very sadly missed by her nieces and nephew Breda O'Callaghan, John Murrell, Margaret Murrell, Margaret Blake (née O'Driscoll), Moira Murrell and their families. Fondly remembered by her 10 grandnieces and grandnephews, Maura’s partner Mike, her good friend Tina, relatives, many dear friends and neighbours.

The death has occurred of Mary O'Neill Fenton (née Hogan), formerly of Ballinakill, Newtownshandrum, Co. Cork, Glenlara, Martinstown, Kilmallock and Fanningstown, Croom, Co. Limerick, 23rd May 2026. Mary passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her husband Maurice Fenton (1988), former husband Thomas O'Neill (1971), and sisters Kathleen and Irene (Bent). Dear sister of Ita, Vera and Stephen. Sadly missed by her heartbroken children David, Suzanne and Louise, son-in-law Dermot O'Sullivan, lifelong friend and companion Dave McCarthy, cherished grandchildren Dylan and Elodie, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, friends, everyone who loved and cared for her, and her beloved pets.

Predeceased by her mother Cathy (née Cotter), father Paddy, brother Jimmy and niece Mary Theresa.

Sadly missed by her brothers Robbie and Pad Joe, nephew Patrick, sisters Annette, Patricia, Margaret, Mary and Catherine.

The death has occurred of Humphry (Amhlaoibh) Lynch, Kiltoohig, Charleville and formerly of Cullen, Co. Cork, 17th May 2026. Humphry passed away peacefully, two weeks short of his 94th birthday, in the wonderful care of the staff at Mallow General Hospital.

Predeceased by his parents Timothy and Mary (née Casey), brothers Pádraig and Donald, and sisters Nora Mary, Peig, Joan and Sheila.
Loving husband for 66 years of Evelyn (née Harnett), beloved father of Anne (Moore), Mary (McGuinness) and Treasa, and the late Amhlaoibh.

Cherished grandfather of Kevin, Evelyn, Catherine and the late Jenny, great-grandfather of Alicia. Sadly missed by his family; sons-in-law Declan and Seán, sisters Mary-Agnes (O’Brien), Kathleen (Deery), Treasa (Murphy), brother Tadhg, sister-in-law Merlyn, brothers-in-law Jim and Michael, nieces, nephews and a wide circle of extended family, neighbours and friends.
