This is more than just an idea to me — it is something I feel deeply in my heart.

I want to create a 24/7 Crisis Centre for adolescents and young people in Clonmel because I know how important it is for someone in crisis to feel seen, heard, safe, and supported. Too many young people are carrying pain silently while waiting for help that can take far too long to come.

I want this centre to feel like a place of hope. A place where no young person is judged, ignored, or turned away. A place where families know there is somewhere to call in the middle of the night when everything feels overwhelming.

This is not about recognition or attention. It is about compassion, understanding, and building something that could genuinely change lives.

I know there will be obstacles, funding battles, and red tape, but I believe our young people deserve better mental health support than what is currently available. They deserve immediate care from psychiatrists, psychologists, counsellors, crisis workers, and trained professionals who truly understand crisis intervention and mental health care.

I want to help build a service where young people feel safe enough to ask for help before they reach breaking point.

Because no young person should ever feel alone in their darkest moment.

If this vision speaks to you, please support us, share this message, and help us raise awareness for the urgent need for youth crisis support in Clonmel.

The mental health crisis affecting adolescents and young people in Clonmel is real, and it is happening right now.
While families struggle and young people reach breaking point, too many are being left waiting because of long delays, lack of services, and endless red tape.

Mental health crises do not wait for paperwork, funding meetings, or long waiting lists.

That is why we are fighting for a dedicated 24/7 Crisis Centre in Clonmel — with psychiatrists, psychologists, counsellors, crisis workers, and trained professionals available every day of the year to provide immediate support, safety, and treatment.

We know there will be challenges. We know there will be barriers, delays, and red tape. But we also know that our young people deserve better.

No adolescent in crisis should feel abandoned or alone because help was delayed.

This is about saving lives, supporting families, and building a service our community desperately needs.

If you believe Clonmel needs urgent action for youth mental health, please support us, share this message, and help us raise awareness.

Together, we can push for change.

Navigating Hurt in Relationships: A Holistic Psychological Perspective
Introduction:
Relationships are intricate tapestries woven from threads of emotions, interactions, and vulnerabilities. When hurt enters this delicate weave, it can fray the fabric of connection, leaving behind emotional scars that echo through our psyche.
The Impact of Hurt:
From hostile encounters to betrayals of trust, the wounds inflicted in relationships reverberate beyond the surface, affecting our mental, emotional, and physical well-being. Psychologically, these wounds manifest in various ways, shaping our perceptions, beliefs, and behaviors.
Taking a Holistic Approach:
A holistic perspective reminds us that healing extends beyond the mind alone. It encompasses the interconnectedness of mind, body, and spirit, recognising the profound impact of hurt on our overall well-being. Emotionally, we may grapple with anger, sadness, or fear, while physically, stress and trauma may manifest in tension or fatigue.
The Path to Healing:
Therapy offers a supportive space for exploration and healing, helping us navigate the complexities of our emotions and untangle the knots of pain. Mindfulness practices invite us to cultivate presence and self-awareness, grounding us in the present moment and fostering acceptance of our inner experience.
Embracing Wholeness:
As we embark on this journey of healing, a holistic perspective encourages us to nurture all aspects of ourselves – mind, body, and spirit. It invites us to honor our emotions, tend to our physical needs, and cultivate resilience in the face of adversity.

Conclusion:
Through this integrative approach, we pave the way for profound healing, deeper connections, and a renewed sense of wholeness in our relationships and within ourselves.
