The death has occurred of Timothy (Tim) Barry, Woodrooffe, Clonmel, Co Tipperary and formerly Kill-St-Anne, Castlelyons, Co Cork.

Tim (in his 97th year), passed away peacefully at Tipperary University Hospital on Sunday afternoon surrounded by his daughter and loving family. He is pre-deceased by his wife Anne and his seven brothers and sisters. He will be sadly missed by his loving family, Isobel (De Barra) and Tom, grandchildren Tom, John and Christopher, daughter-in-law Kathleen, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law (especially Claire), nephews John, Desmond and Barry, nieces Deirdre, Louise and Catherine, extended family, wonderful neighbours and wide circle of friends.

Reposing at Condons Funeral Parlour, Clonmel on Wednesday evening from 5.00pm to 7.00pm. Removal on Thursday to St Mary’s Church, Irishtown. Funeral Mass on arrival at 12.00pm. Those who cannot attend can watch live via the St Mary’s Parish livestream service https://www.churchservices.tv/clonmel. Burial will take place afterwards in Castlelyons Cemetery, Co Cork.

The death has occurred of Veronica (Vera) Gilligan (nee Kiely), Connaught Street, Kilcock, Co Kildare and formerly Fourmilewater.

Vera passed away peacefully, after a brief illness, at Connolly Hospital Blanchardstown. She is pre-deceased by her husband William, sons Tony and Peter and daughter Susan.

She will be lovingly remembered by her family, sons Billy and John, daughter Mary, daughters-in-law, son-in-law, grandchildren, extended family, friends and neighbours.

Reposing at William Ryan & Son's Funeral Home, Church St., Kilcock on Sunday from 4pm to 6pm. Vera's funeral cortege will leave Condons Funeral Parlour, Clonmel on Monday at 4.30pm, arriving at Our Lady & St. Lawrence's Church, Fourmilewater at 5.00pm.

The death has occurred of Susan McCormack, Garden Close, Glenconnor, and formerly Baptistgrange, Lisronagh, Clonmel, Co Tipperary.

Susan died peacefully on 16th October 2026, on her 43rd birthday, following a long and courageous battle with cancer. Throughout her illness she showed extraordinary courage, strength and determination. At the heart of everything were her beloved children, Chloe and Ryan, who meant the world to her and gave her the strength to keep going. Her remarkable bravery and unwavering love for her children were an inspiration to all who knew and loved her.

Susan is predeceased by her dearly loved parents, Marian and Nobby (Patrick), whom she lost at a young age and missed deeply throughout her life. She took comfort in the thought that one day she would be reunited with them both.

Susan will be forever loved and deeply missed by her adored children Chloe and Ryan, loving brothers Alan and Shane, her much-loved uncle Michael, dear cousins Mandy and Michelle who were like sisters to her, her dear sisters-in-law Emma and Vera, loved nephews, aunts, uncles, aunts-in-law, cousins and extended family and her many dear and close friends.

May Susan Rest in Peace

In accordance with Susan’s own wishes, her burial has taken place privately.

Susan's family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who cared for and supported her throughout her illness, with special thanks to Dr Colum Dennehy and Dr Miriam O'Connor (Oncologists) and to the Oak Ward Palliative Care Team at University Hospital Waterford, for the exceptional care, kindness and compassion shown to Susan during her final weeks.

Pierce passed away peacefully in the care of the wonderful staff of Sonas Melview Nursing Home on Wednesday morning in the presence of his loving family. Beloved husband of Maureen and loving father to Ruth, Andrew, Rachel and Ian he will be sadly missed by his loving family, grandchildren Alice, Fergus, Tiarnan, Iseult, Ferdia, Grace, Lucy, Adam, Heidi and Wendy, sister Min (Heinemeier), son-in-law Mike, daughters-in-law Imelda and Áine, brothers-in-law Jan, Seamus, Brian and Robbie, sister-in-law Pat, nephew Nicky, niece Katja, extended family and all his friends and former colleagues in education, Clonmel Athletic Club and St Mary’s Choral Society.

Fr. Frank passed away unexpectedly at home on Wednesday afternoon. He is pre-deceased by his father William, mother Anastasia (Babs), brothers Jim and William (Bill) and sisters Mary and Rita. He will be sadly missed by his sisters Carmel, Bernadette and Philomena, brother Michael, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, wide circle of friends, Bishop Alphonsus Cullinan, Priests, Deacons, Religious and Lay Faithful of the Diocese of Waterford and Lismore.
