We are very excited to share that The Compass Clinic is moving to a new location.

This marks a lovely new chapter for the clinic. Although our address has changed, our commitment has not. We remain focused on providing high-quality, evidence-based psychological assessments with care, clarity, and professionalism.

From May onwards, we look forward to welcoming clients to Ballinlough Road, T12 F4EP, and to continuing our work from our new base with both new and existing clients.

Our Clinical Psychologists take a neurodiversity-affirmative, non-pathologising approach, creating a supportive space to explore your identity and experiences.

Meet the Team: Dr. Vicky Matthews, Clinical Psychologist and founder of The Compass Clinic in Cork.

Vicky set up the clinic to offer thoughtful, neuroaffirming assessments that focus on understanding the whole person, not just ticking boxes. She works with both children and adults, and is especially passionate about helping those who’ve spent years wondering if there’s more going on beneath the surface.

Outside the clinic, Vicky is most likely curled up on the couch with her dog and two cats (she’s equal opportunities!). She’s a fan of great books, binge-worthy TV, and occasionally lifting very heavy things just for fun.

At the heart of her work? Curiosity, compassion and clear communication.
