Your Saturday practice continues this August with two guided journeys, each offering a different way to deepen your relationship with yoga.

Start the morning with our Ashtanga – 6 Week Journey, where each class builds progressively through the Primary Series, developing strength, confidence and a steady, consistent practice. Then slow things down with Unclench & Open, our Yin Yoga journey that gently releases the muscles that quietly hold stress, creating more ease in movement and everyday life.

Whether you're returning to your mat or continuing your journey, these Saturday sessions are an opportunity to move with intention, practise with consistency and discover what unfolds over time.

Reserve your place via the link in our bio and join us online this August.

August is an invitation to return to the practices that help you feel your best.

This month, we're introducing three guided journeys designed to support you through the transition back into routine. Begin your mornings with Desk Detox 15, a 15-minute challenge to release tension from desk life. Stay on to Rebuild Your Foundation, our progressive strength series that rebuilds the body week by week. Then, end your day with Closing the Loop, a restorative evening journey to help you let go, unwind and truly rest.

Whether you're looking to move more, build strength or create space to slow down, there's a practice waiting for you this August.

Reserve your place through the link in our bio and join us online. We can't wait to practise with you.

As July comes to a close, we're reflecting on a month filled with movement, learning and meaningful connection.

We celebrated another wonderful group of Yoga Teacher Training graduates as they completed an important chapter in their journey. Our Online Studio community continued to show up with consistency, embracing morning practices, evening restoration and everything in between.

We also gathered each Saturday in Fitzgerald's Park, where Yoga in the Park brought people together in support of Cork Simon Community, reminding us of the power of practising with purpose.

From workshops and studio classes to welcoming new faces into our community, every shared moment has helped shape what ālaya is all about.

To everyone who practised with us, learned with us and shared this journey with us, thank you. Your presence is what makes this community so special.

We're looking forward to everything August has in store, and we can't wait to continue the journey together.

Feeling stiff through your chest and upper back?

Modern life often leaves us rounded forward, whether we're working at a desk, driving or looking down at our phones. Over time, this can affect not only our posture but also the way we breathe and move.

Join Iva this Friday for a mixed-level practice focused on Opening Your Heart & Spine. Through mindful movement, you'll explore gentle backbends and chest-opening postures designed to improve spinal mobility, release tension in the shoulders and upper back, and help you move with greater ease.

Whether you're looking to counter the effects of sitting or simply give your body the space it deserves, this class offers the perfect opportunity to reconnect with your posture and your breath.

Some experiences are felt more than they are explained.

This Friday, join us for an evening where yoga and live harp come together in perfect harmony. As you move through your practice with Tanya, the gentle melodies of Joy Delaney's harp will accompany every breath, every stretch, and every moment of stillness.

For one evening, let the music become part of your practice. Slow down, soften your focus, and allow yourself to be fully present.
