The COVID vaccination programme will be rolling out nationally in the coming weeks for patients over 70. We will have our first delivery and vaccine clinic this week for patients over the age of 85. This will be followed by a further clinic every two weeks for the next age cohort (>85, 80-84, 75-79, 70-74).

We will contact all of our patients. There is no need to ring the Practice. There is no waiting list for the vaccine. There will be enough for all of our patients.

We can only vaccinate the specific age range in the specific clinic as we will be sent the exact number of vaccines for each clinic.

Please read this document about the vaccine programme and it would be great to get it up onto local WhatsApp groups etc so all people over the age of 70 can read it.

FLU VACCINE UPDATE - the nasal flu vaccine for Children age 2-12 can now be extended free of charge to all children (unless they are contraindicated) up to and including age 17 (i.e. up to their 18th birthday), this includes whether the patient has a medical or doctor visit card or is private and regardless of whether they are in an at risk group or not.

Children aged 2 to 12 can now get the nasal flu vaccine for free. The vaccine will help protect your child against flu and reduce the spread to others.
