I want you to feel empowered when it comes to your own health and wellbeing. πͺπ»π
By turning inwards we often hold more answers about our physical, emotional and mental wellbeing than we think.
I can't tell you how many times mid session we find the contributing factors to why someone isn't feeling well, and they exclaim "Oh, I had a feeling that was it!" or "I was only talking about this during the week!". They already knew the answers! β¨
The thing is, very rarely are we taught to be present with ourselves, to come out of the thinking mind and into our body. To listen to what our body has to say. The body speaks in symptoms - aches, pains, rashes, bloating, constipation, hormonal issues etc. But what is it trying to tell us? What's below the surface and why did it have to get so loud before we were forced to stop and listen?
Take time each day, or at least each week to tune in and ask yourself how you're doing? What might you be holding on to that needs to be released? Did you take on someone else's emotions during that heavy conversation you had in work? Are you still holding onto anger or hurt from the fight you had with your partner? Once you acknowledge what it is, instruct your body to release and to let go. You might sigh, you might yawn, you might shake, tremble or cry. You might just feel lighter and a sense of calm. Let it go. This is your body releasing.
This is the type of self care that is so worthwhile investing in and even better, it doesn't cost a thing. All you need is a quiet space and some time π.
Are you ready to give it a go? Let me know below! π€
