Our Director of Nursing, Mary, was delighted to meet Jillian van Turnhout, Chairperson of Nursing Homes Ireland, at the recent NHI Conference.

It was a great opportunity to connect, share ideas and be part of the wider conversation around the future of nursing home care in Ireland.

✨ A Year in Review So Far at Willow Brooke Care Centre ✨

2026 has already been filled with so many wonderful moments at Willow Brooke Care Centre. From resident outings and celebrations to music, activities, our beautiful sensory garden and special occasions shared with families, friends and our fantastic team, there has been so much to enjoy. 💛

We’ve loved looking back on the smiles, laughter and memories created together so far this year — and there is still plenty more to come!

☀️ A September Day Out at Lough Gur ☀️

Our residents from Killeline Care Centre made the most of the September sunshine with a lovely trip to Lough Gur. 🌿

We enjoyed a relaxing picnic by the lake, took in the beautiful scenery and spent some time at the Visitor Centre learning more about the fascinating history of the area.

A wonderful day of fresh air, local history, great company and happy memories. 💛

🌸 Celebrating Onam at Ferbane Care Centre! 🌸

What a wonderful day of colour, culture, tradition and togetherness we had celebrating Onam at Ferbane Care Centre! 💛

Our staff and residents came together in traditional dress, enjoyed traditional games and worked together to create a beautiful Pookalam flower display. 🌺

The celebrations continued with traditional dances, delicious food and plenty of smiles, making it a truly special day for everyone involved.

It was a lovely opportunity for our staff to share their culture and traditions with our residents, while creating meaningful connections and wonderful memories together. ❤️

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make the day so enjoyable. It was a fantastic celebration of community, culture and togetherness.
