Residents and staff from Willow Brooke Care Centre made the most of the beautiful sunshine with a lovely day out at Tralee Wetlands. 🌞🌿

There were plenty of smiles, fresh air, laughter and great company enjoyed throughout the day. Outings like these are a wonderful opportunity for residents to relax, connect with nature and create special memories together.

Recently at Willow Brooke Care Centre, we celebrated International Nurses Day and took the opportunity to recognise our wonderful nursing team for the outstanding care, compassion, and support they provide every day. 💙🩺

Our nurses play such an important role in the lives of our residents and their families, always going above and beyond to create a warm, caring, and safe environment throughout our home.

At Clarinbridge Care Centre, we were delighted to celebrate the Bealtaine Festival with a very special resident and staff art gallery created by our wonderful OT and Activities Team. 🎨✨

Over the course of two months, residents dedicated their time, creativity, and talent to preparing beautiful arts and crafts pieces for the exhibition, which was proudly displayed in our Juice Bar for families and visitors to enjoy.

The gallery showcased an incredible variety of artwork and was a lovely opportunity to celebrate creativity, self-expression, and community within our home. It was wonderful to welcome families in to admire the fantastic work on display and celebrate the achievements of our residents and staff together. 💙

A huge well done to everyone involved in making the exhibition such a special success!

As we share some lovely photos from Abbott Close, we would also like to extend a sincere thank you to our local community, families, and visitors for their kindness and generosity during our Afternoon Tea held on Thursday, 7th May in recognition of Alzheimer's Society Tea Day. 💜☕

Thanks to your incredible support, a total of €350 was raised for such a wonderful cause. It was a lovely afternoon enjoyed by all, filled with great company, conversation, and community spirit.

Killeline Care Centre recently celebrated National Arts in Nursing Homes Day alongside the wonderful Bealtaine Festival with a fantastic day of creativity, music, and fun here at the home. 🎨✨

Our craft exhibition showcased the amazing talents of our residents, with a beautiful display of handmade creations including knitted scarves, napkin seashell art, paintings, and much more. The creativity and effort on display was truly incredible. 💙

Music therapy with Damien helped set the perfect party atmosphere, bringing plenty of smiles, singing, and dancing throughout the day. 🎶

The highlight of the celebration was undoubtedly our residents’ fashion show! Residents enjoyed getting their makeup done, dressing up, and confidently strutting down the catwalk to huge cheers and applause from everyone watching. 👗✨

It was a joyful day filled with laughter, confidence, creativity, and wonderful memories for all involved.

Our nurses provide compassion, comfort, support, and exceptional care to our residents every single day, and we are so grateful for the kindness and dedication they bring to Abbott Close.
