Dr. Christian Diehl is a pharmacologist who was ever passionate about skin physiology, and since 1980 he decided to focus on his passion. He created successively various successful companies, all of them in the same area, and besides was a consultant for various multinational pharmaceutical companies. Nowadays he is exclusively dedicating more than 35 years of professional expertise to LSI.

💡 Luz visible: lo que tenés que saber

Siempre hablamos de los rayos UV… pero la luz visible (400–700 nm) también puede afectar tu piel—y más de lo que pensás. ⬇️

No viene solo del sol. La luz artificial de pantallas, lámparas y dispositivos también puede penetrar en la piel, contribuyendo a la pigmentación, el envejecimiento prematuro e incluso daño en el ADN.

A diferencia de los UVB (que afectan la epidermis), la luz visible llega a capas más profundas como la dermis e hipodermis, activando distintas respuestas en la piel.

✨ ¿Qué puede provocar?
▪️ Aumento de melanina → manchas, melasma y tono desigual
▪️ Estrés oxidativo (ROS) → degradación del colágeno, arrugas y flacidez
▪️ Oxidación del ADN → daño a largo plazo y posibles mutaciones

Unlike UVB (which affects the epidermis), visible light reaches deeper layers like the dermis and hypodermis—triggering different skin responses.
