Members of our Disability Support Team recently completed CPI’s 'Safety Intervention™ Foundation Training.

This specialised training has given our team more confidence and skills to support children, young people, and adults with disabilities, especially during times when they might feel overwhelmed or dysregulated.


A big thank you to our Social Care Manager, Laurie, for leading the sessions and sharing her expertise with our care teams across Cork city and county.



This training helps our team:

- Respond calmly and effectively when needed.

- Use positive communication to de-escalate concerns.

- Build stronger, trusting relationships.

- Prioritize the safety and dignity of those we support.

🌞With Alzheimer’s and dementia.
🌞Who spend a lot of time outside or in hot places.
🌞Babies and young children.
