NO BRA DAY 👙
No Bra Day is an important reminder to think about our breast health, know what’s normal for our bodies and check our breasts regularly.
And we absolutely support that message.
But we also want to add something to the conversation…
Let’s not overlook the value of good breast support and informed choice.
Whether you wear a bra, a bralette, a sports bra or choose to go braless is entirely your choice.
But we believe that choice should be an informed one.
Some women choose not to wear a bra because their bras are uncomfortable. Others simply prefer not to wear one. For some, going braless is part of a wider personal or social belief.
And sometimes, what feels like a comfortable bra or bralette may simply not be providing much support at all.
None of those choices are inherently right or wrong.
What matters is having the information to understand what support your breasts need, what your bra is actually providing, and what that might mean for your comfort, movement and activity.
Because the problem isn’t wearing a bra.
And the message isn’t that everyone should wear one.
It’s about understanding your body and being able to make the choice that’s right for you.
So this No Bra Day:
🎀 Check your breasts.
👙 Check your bra.
💗 Know your options.
🙌 Make an informed choice.
🌟 Does your bra fit properly?
🌟 Is the band providing support, or are the straps doing all the work?
🌟 Do the cups fit correctly?
🌟 Does it move when you move?
🌟 Do you feel comfortable and supported?
🌟 And importantly - do you know what level of support is right for you?
Breast awareness matters. Breast support matters. And informed choice matters too.
As a B***y Physio, our role isn’t to tell women what they should or shouldn’t wear. It’s to give women the knowledge and understanding to make informed choices about their own bodies.
